TODD BURNHAM: intuitive, passionate, impregnable, unrelenting, and capable of bringing desired outcomes. Here is my story: I went through a very ugly, lengthy, and contentious divorce. A divorce complete with infidelity, domestic violence, restraining orders, no-contact orders, and repeated motion...s filed by my ex-husband. The legal drama and turmoil was ominous. Unfortunately, having never been through a divorce before, I had to go through two worthless attorneys before I finally found "the one." Todd Burnham and his firm actually fought for me and made things "right" after over 3 years of things being extremely “wrong.” How I wish I had discovered Mr. Burnham and his firm 3 years earlier. It is mind boggling to think of how different things could have been! Based on his performance, I think it is fair to conclude I would not have gone through all the legal turmoil, emotional agony, parental alienation and hostile drama causing major decline in the children as evidenced by physical and verbal outbursts at school, suicidal ideations and floundering academic performance. And yet, given all of these outward cries for help, the children were not allowed to seek professional help. “Joint decision making” vetoed every positive attempt I made to assuage the children confusion, anger and grief. I felt helpless as a mother, to intervene on behalf of the children until I joined forces with the Burnham Law Firm. Todd Burnham, Gavin Halligan, and JP Prentiss are knowledgeable, confident and skilled with precise execution of strategic moves to win difficult legal cases like my own. Under their guidance, I endured a year-long custody battle that culminated in a change in parenting time and decision making, giving me the upper hand to make a change. After many depressing losses, the truth was finally exposed and we won our case! I now have majority custody of the children during the school year and sole decision making! The children are finally settled and healing as evidenced by their emotional, academic and social growth from counseling, involvement in sports, tutoring and “hands on” parenting. If my story sounds even remotely familiar, DO NOT WASTE ANYMORE PRECIOUS TIME! You need a team that will actually fight and win. I will never use another attorney to deal with my ex-husband. It is the Burnham Law firm or nothing else! There are so many attorneys out there with greedy hands, ready to take your money. Unfortunately, they fail to deliver. Todd and the Burnham Law firm will NOT LET YOU DOWN. I hope that by reading my story, you can also eventually find the peace and closure that the Burnham Law Firm has afforded me. Todd Burnham, Gavin Halligan, and JP Prentiss at the Burnham Law Firm have changed my life. I will forever be grateful for the closure I now have after so many years of fighting with bitter angst and disgust with our legal system.

Too expensive for me - yet amazing

I met with Todd for my inevitable divorce. I don't normally take the time to write reviews, especially for someone who I probably can't afford to hire, but I left blown away. Todd is Whole Foods. He is more expensive than others but what you purchase there is so much better for you! He listened t...o my situation. He asked questions about my husband and my children. He nailed my husband and who he is, how he acts, the anger and verbal abuse, the blame and the pattern that has escalated. I was beyond impressed, and a bit shocked. He outlined a plan of action that he would take, and did so even though I told him that I didn't think I could afford his services. He knew I drove a long way to meet with him and respected me and my situation. I just thought that it would be nice to take the time and tell others who this man is and what he is about. He is Whole Foods! Quality, more expensive than others, and clearly worth it.

Motivator and Strategist

I hired Todd and his firm to represent me and I was sold immediately upon speaking with him. I was comforted during our initial consultation when he actually suggested that I interview other lawyers first so I could have a frame of reference for what other options are available to me. He emphasized... that TRUST is critical when going through a divorce, and having a frame of reference gives clients a sense of confidence when things aren't going smoothly in a case. And that certainly happened in my case. So I followed his advice, interviewed three other attorneys, and immediately went right back to him. I own and manage a large company and I needed to rely on the advice given otherwise I ran the risk of getting emotionally sucked into my case, losing my livelihood and case at the same time. Todd wouldn't allow it. He challenged me to be great through the adversity, to be a better man and rise up to this challenge. He focused me. Todd isn't a counselor. He is a professional and was singularly focused on the case, the strategy of the case and anticipating what would happen. And he was spot on. My case was settled and it was fair, primarily because Todd lined up the pieces to perfection. I can't recommended this firm enough.

Outstanding representation during a less than outstanding time

I am very thankful to have had Todd Burnham as my representation in my divorce. I am even more thankful that he was not my ex-wife’s attorney. Effective and Knowledgeable, a Proven Winner!

Todd was our third lawyer we hired for a divorce and post divorce litigation. Our regret is that we had not hired him from the start. He certainly accomplished what the other two lawyers could not in this difficult case. He knows the law and was able defend our case when questions about previous ...decisions were made. He is forceful and able to get what is fair and just.
