H. Michael Steinberg represented me throughout a very difficult felony case, and I couldn't have asked for a better attorney. If you are looking for an attorney that will sugar coat everything and say only what the client wants to hear, then H. Michael is NOT the attorney for you. He is brutally... honest, which may be difficult for some people, but he tells it like it is so there are no surprises. He is compassionate and caring and is very responsive to any questions or concerns you may have (at all hours of the day and night... he never sleeps!). The amount of research that he spent on my case alone was incredible, and I saw the amount of files, paperwork, etc. that he had. We went to trial in December 2015 and it lasted approximately two weeks. Ultimately, with H. Michael's awesome trial tactics and knowledge, I was convicted on a lesser felony and a misdemeanor... but it did not require a mandatory DOC sentence and I got to return home and be with my family for Christmas. Originally, I was facing a mandatory 10-32 years in DOC, so this was an extremely serious charge. H. Michael thought that with everything that I had done to mitigate what had happened that I would receive 4 years probation and no DOC/jail time. I was sentenced in March 2016, and the DA was asking for 2 years DOC on the felony and 12 months jail on the misdemeanor. H. Michael through his knowledge of the courts and experience convinced the judge to sentence me to 4 years probation on the felony and 1 year probation on the misdemeanor, to run concurrently... he was 100% in what the sentence would be! My case has been lengthy, ongoing for almost 2 years. H. Michael was by my side at every court hearing, answering any questions or concerns I had, and working extremely hard to fight for my innocence. To say that I am grateful to H.
