What a huge disappointment. I was referred to him, by a friend. He was more than happy to help me when I first hired him, but come closer to my court date he totally let me down. The few times I was able to get a hold of him getting closer to my court date, I would have to call the office multiple... times within a week period for him to return my calls. I was working out of town and had to fly in for what he told me would be a type of prehearing, where the courts would basically present evidence and schedule another court date. This did not turnout to be the case. He had agreed to meet me at the court house before the hearing so we can go over my case. I spoke to him for 5 minutes, then he got a call from another client and was on the phone with him the rest of the time. It turns out for this hearing, the prosecutor was making, me plea guilty or not guilty. It turns out that the prosecutor was looking at my friend whom I was arrested with's; criminal history and I was being charged as if this was not my first occurrence. Rick, ended up convincing me to plea guilty, even tho it was questionable whether my arrest was lawful. (which i will not get into the details.) Now Im left with this horrible conviction on my record for the rest of my life. I strongly believe I would be in a different situation if I had choose a different attorney. After my case, I tried contacting his office by phone and email in reference to court paperwork he advised me, he would provide, but never responded. I stopped trying after a couple calls and 2 emails..
