Throughout my experience with Mr. Flores, he was attentive and professional. When setting the goals of what I wanted from my case, he gave an honest and fair assessment based on my past transgressions and who I was as a person. After setting those goals, he did everything that he could to accomplis...h them. He or someone in his office communicated with me constantly throughout the process and helped me to feel at ease, even though this was a highly stressful situation. I do not condone my behavior or anyone else breaking the law. However, if you find yourself in a bad situation and in need of legal representation; you would be doing yourself a disservice by not consulting with and hiring Rick Flores. I initially met with Rick almost 10 days after my release. Prior to the initial meeting, I had never walked around with a heavier load, on my shoulders, in my life. The weight was lifted almost immediately, after meeting with Rick. He was compassionate as well as empathetic towards my situation and d...isplayed absolute confidence, while discussing my case. As a first time offender, accused of two non-violent crimes, he assured me that he would seek a dismissal and only a dismissal. I left his office with a game plan, of his design, on how I should address my case in the coming months. When the case was all said and done, two dismissals. Those are things you should have a in a lawyer but that may not always ring true. There are a lot of firms out there just looking to make money off of clients; Mr. Flores and the rest of the Minton, Bassett, Burton and Collins group are not that - and thank goodness. Mr. Flores was forthcoming and di...ligent in what my options where, helping me make the right choices for my case and getting me through the year long process.
