My husband moved our children and I to Texas 5 years ago after accepting a position with his company. Long story short, even with a divorce no longer pending, and witbout having to refile, we were able to go before the judge and convince him to sign the petition to lift the dismissal and proceed with the divorce. Due to the amount of time that had passed, the moment he signed the paperwork the divorce became official since we were way past the waiting period. That was March of 2016, a year after I had dismissed it . Stacy never charged me another dime after the original agreed fee almost two years prior and helped me out of the nightmare I had been living.
