Knowledgeable, Professional

Our son got into what we considered major legal trouble. Shane was recommended to us by the bail bondsman. We called and got to actually see him the same day. We had our day in court and were in and out quickly. He had everything pretty much taken care of before we even got there. Things were smooth... for a couple of years before we needed Shane again to get our son out of an issue that came up regarding completion of probation, having to extend probation or going to jail. Again, Shane took care of everything, called and explained everything to us in a way so we understood. Shane has a very calm manner about him which helped us feel more relaxed. He keeps you informed and updated. I would definitely recommend Shane to anyone.

Honest and Trustworthy

Mr. Phelps is the man to turn to in a time of need. From our very first conversation to the end of our case Mr. Phelps was very honest and upfront with us. His expertise and knowledge helped us understand exactly what the process was and what types of outcomes we could expect. He never promised us... anything, which we liked, but made us feel very comfortable with the situation our son was in. In our case, with the help of Mr. Phelps, we had a very positive outcome that concluded with the dismissal of the charges. We all thank you Mr. Phelps and everyone in your office for always being respectful of us and the situation. All of you went above and beyond what we had expected. Thanks again!

Kind, knowledgeable & cares.

Great experience working with Shane .... He was kind to my son (with whom he represented), explained everything thoroughly and gave great advise in a silly charge that could affected him for life. Very knowledgeable & totally knows the "system" in his community. I felt he was truly looking out for ...my son's best interest. As a single mom, I felt my son experienced a "life lesson"! Thank you, Shane.

Shane Phelps: smart, effective, trustworthy, responsive

Shane Phelps provided counsel in a DWI case arising in College Station involving my college-aged child while a student at Texas A&M. I can say unequivocally that Shane is smart, capable, trustworthy and responsive. He took my initial call after hours and always replied timely thereafter. He was ...honest with his view of the strengths and weaknesses of my child’s case, as well as the risks and possible rewards of the various trial and pleading options. He was careful not to guarantee any possible outcome good or bad. Ultimately, he achieved a very good outcome including waiver of the DWI charge, and has allowed my child to move on to life after graduation with minimal permanent impact with regard to reputation and professional career. Shane is also just a good person. I can recommend him highly for criminal matters in Texas.

Thank you, Shane!

Shane really helped me get a good deal that would lead to a sealed record and then gave me a rare opportunity to get an even better deal that will lead to a completely clean record. All of this was done in a very timely manner. But perhaps the most important thing that helped me was that he told me w...hat was going on, what to expect, and what I needed to do. This really put my mind at ease and helped me understand the legal process when I was very out of my element and had never been around court or lawyers or legal proceedings. He was very helpful and made a bad situation easier to deal with and for that I am very appreciative.
