I prayed for God to send me a miracle, he sent me Stacey Valdez!!

My divorce was extremely complicated and had several issues that made me feel like I was fighting a losing battle. From the day I hired Stacey, she took the bull by the horns and I marveled at her legal genius. She is incredible to watch in action, and definitely worth every penny. Not only did I get... everything I asked for, I walked away with 85% of our assets. I know all too well how emotional divorces are and her great sense of humor always made me feel at ease. Our divorce was so ugly and chaotic it resulted in two criminal charges against me. Stacey handled both of the criminal cases as well. Her expertise with both criminal law and family law was impressive. Both cases were dismissed and I couldn't have done it without her. To make matters worse, the ex then tried to involve CPS and I also hired Stacey to handle that situation. The minute the CPS worker heard my attorney was Stacey Valdez and all communications needed to go thru Stacey, the frivolous investigation seemed to disappear over night. I have referred several people to Stacey and I know if I ever have any legal issues, she is my go-to gal. She truly is a secret weapon. Hiring her for my second divorce made me wish I would have known about her for the first one. There is nothing worse than spending thousands of dollars on a useless or mediocre attorney. I really lucked out finding her. If you are going into battle, you need a bullet proof vest and a good weapon. Anyone else is like wearing aluminum foil for armor. Best decision I ever made.

Stacey is amazing. She will fight to get everything you and your children rightfully deserve. She knows her stuff and and she does not mess around. She means business!!!! Very easy to talk to and very supportive of her client. I will never use anyone else. I absolutely LOVE Stacey. I was referred to ...Stacey by another Attorney and he asked me if I wanted a Beast and that's exactly what I got. If you want a good outcome on your case she is the one to go to! When choosing an Attorney always remember. . You get what you pay for!

RUN!

I hired Stacey to represent my son in a custody hearing after getting a rave review from a friend, Chad, who also reviews Stacey here. It was an easy case to win… My son and his children had been physically and verbally abused; before leaving the toxic relationship, he collected a mountain of evide...nce, since the separation, he collected more. Stacey showed up in court in Nov '22, and did not have a clue about the facts of the case. He was petitioner and she had the opportunity to paint the picture first, but she didn’t! Imagine our horror on hearing day, listening to his ex, spin the most outrageous stories in court… accusations against my son which could easily be refuted with overwhelming evidence… but where was the evidence? It was so unbelievable to hear him respond repeatedly with, “we have it in the recordings…” and to hear opposing counsel mock, “where are the recordings?” Where were the recordings, Stacey? Abusive Ex won SOLE custody, because the court believed her entirely refutable lies! Thankfully after a jury trial last week, and two miserable years for young children with a drunken mom, the truth has been revealed. Children are headed to dads. 12/12 jurors agree. Stacey looks great on the surface. She is described as a “bull dog” in reviews. Absolutely she is. She can snarl and bark but what good does it do if she can’t care enough to do her homework before going to court. It should be a crime to practice law like this. I could say so much more but let this suffice: you’ve been warned, if you love your children and want to protect them, please look for someone who cares! Additionally, Stacey has very little accountability in her billing. Her bills lack details other attorneys will give. Requests for final accounting and refund of additional funds have been met with, “Oh sorry! We’ll get to that” Hmmmmmm….. still waiting! Unfortunately, we don’t really get to see how an attorney will perform until hearing day. A ruling is costly to overturn in more ways than one. Read the AVVO & Google reviews. Read the negative ones carefully. Look long and hard, take your time…. Choosing your attorney is key. Zero stars. Could have done better ourselves!

Poor communication and no legal help

Had to constantly contact them to learn about the status of my case, since the court kept postponing and every time would just talk with a paralegal, not the lawyer, but still get charged. I understand that due to the current situation it is difficult to predict the court schedule but would at least... expect some form communication and contact with a lawyer.
