There is a movie called " The Lincoln Lawyer". About a defense attorney who has total control on all of his cases. A great Lawyer, however he is just a character in a movie. I was very impressed with Steve and his entire staff; when I called Steve's office, I was extremely upset that I hired an attorney prior to Steve who was ill-prepared to represent me or anyone else. To add to my frustration, I paid this other attorney in full and his services were lackluster to say ...the least. So, I called Steve's office and spoke with Malinda; after explaining my legal situation as well as my experience with the previous attorney, she immediately asked that I come in for a consultation with Steve. Malinda was very positive and extremely knowledgable about the law and all ancillary possibilities surrounding my case. She assured me that Steve would work hard and also advised me of his success rate in such cases; especially situations where there should not be a case to begin with. I found myself in trouble in July of 2015, went to court in April 2016 and had another attorney. Wish I had learned about Steve O Gonzalez, things probably would've been different. I ended signing for 3 years as deffered adjudication for possession of control substance less than a gram of thc concen...trate in Brazoria County. Around August I was arrested for reckless driving on my to work as I was late and not paying attention to my speed. Because of that arrest my probation officer sent a motion to adjudicate guilt to the judge. I wanted a different attorney than I had for my possession charge and a good friend told me to go talk to Steve O Gonzalez. I called up Steve O Gonzalez's office and was set up for consultation immediately. I was blown away with the professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to have me as a client.
