I would utilize NO OTHER ATTORNEY - Except Mark Ryan Thiessen - Under any circumstances

I was arrested for DWI several hours after my Mom's funeral. I did have several glasses of wine so, who knows, I could have hit the .08 limit. My court date was 7 days later. Mark was referred to me by a friend and from the moment I heard his voice, I knew I was in good hands and all would be ...okay. (I was in a rather emotional state since the arrest occurred on the day I buried my Mom.) I was due in criminal court 7 days later. Mark answered all my calls "on the spot" - even realizing he was likely receiving a call from someone who was totally "freaking out" and crying most of the time. Most importantly, he absolutely knew his craft and informed me every step of the way what to expect and the options before me. Mark got me in and out of criminal court within 30 minutes - my criminal case was dismissed. Next step – Dismissing the civil matter, (ALR Hearing), for refusing a blood or breath test. Mark attended my ALR hearing where I was sure my license would be suspended due to my constant refusals to a blood or breath test. Mark attended the ALR hearing; I was not even required to go. Mark told me, "do not worry; I will take care of everything." And by God, he did! Mark rang me and told me "I was golden." My driver’s license had not been suspended! I could not believe it! Do I have Mark's number on speed dial? You bet! Would I tell someone or anyone to call him if they were in any type of trouble? You bet! I was one of the lucky ones. I actually retained a lawyer with such high integrity, knowledge and an unwavering tenacity to fight for his clients. I truly wish everyone who happens to make a mistake and/or get into trouble had instant access to Mark. If there was any way I could make that happen, I certainly would. Respectfully, A loyal client to the end of my life

CONSUMATE PROFESSIONAL

I was referred to Mark by a mutual friiend- Mark met with me, heard my side of the situation and took my case-- He manuvered through the legal machine in Harris county and kept me informed through it all- Mark often took my calls after regular business hours-and was always attentitive and showed gen...uine concern for me !!-- Mark never steered me wrong and was always truthful about the situation--he never made false promises or claims-- Mark is by far the best attorney I have ever used !

Mark saved my future!!

I was referred to Mark by a friend who Mark had also taken great care of. I spoke with 4 different lawyers and not only did Mark have the most resonable price, best referrals; but he also put my mind at ease from the beginning. Great guy! I felt like I could tell him the truth which in embarrassing s...ituations like a DWI/DUI, I feel like trust in your lawyer is crucial!! A DWI/DUI case can drag and be very stressful and Mark continuously promised me good results and came through. Not only did I learn a life long lesson from this but I know who to refer if anyone I know EVER has to deal with what I went through. I felt like a priority to him and I could never thank him enough for saving my future!

Thiessen's commitment and knowledge got a dismissal before trial

Unlike so many of the other lawyers I met with who seemed to only say what I wanted to hear, Mark told me, "I can't promise you an outcome. What I can promise you is my experience and how hard I'll work for you." True to his word, Mark worked tirelessly on my case, which I knew to be one of his easie...st cases at the time. Even considering it was an easy case, Mark never slowed down and never backed off. He came at my case with the tenacity of a prizefighter, and (judging from the other stories) I'm not the only one. He always took the time to explain everything that was happening to someone like me, who is a complete stranger to the legal system. Bottom line: if you are unfortunate enough to be going through a DUI/DWI case, you need this man on your team. Mark, all I can say is, "thank you, thank you, thank you." You were not only knowledgeable and tenacious, but you were also personable at a time that wasn't the easiest.

2nd DUI but no problem for Mark Thiessen

I had been charged with a DUI when I was in college almost 13 years ago so you can understand why I was a nervous wreck when I was arrested for my second one. The arrest wasn't the worst part either! I had had an accident that evening and damaged some property as well. I knew I was in trouble and I n...eeded an attorney. I knew of Mark's reputation of being one the best up and coming DUI lawyers in Houston but I still thought I didn't have a chance in hell. I was wrong as 5 months later, I received a " Not Guilty" verdict and it was like it never happened. Mark's words from the very beginning were" You paid me so let me do what I do best"... and that is kick butt in the courtroom. Mark is not only extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the DUI law but he is a natural in the courtroom. You can't help but like him whether you are a judge, jury member or even a district attorney. I had never been to trial before and I felt extremely confident with him on my side. I was recommended to him by a friend and I would definitely recommend him to any friend, a family member or even a complete stranger because he is that good.
