Intelligent, Hard-Working, & Tough - Houston's Best Lawyer

After being charged with a DWI in Texas I was convinced that my life as I knew it was over. After one meeting with Mark Thiessen I was confident that I would be able to get this blemish off of my record and continue down the path that I had envisioned for myself. I met Mark shortly after my arres...t and he did an unbelievable job of collecting information and explaining the processes and options that were available to me. Any time I needed to reach him, I could expect a reply immediately via phone or email. He and his associates kept me updated on every detail of the case, and made me feel I had a great chance to get the charge dropped. Mark even covered for me when I was unable to make a court date due to being stranded in a Wyoming airport., helping me avoid another difficult legal situation. When my trial date came, I ended up getting my charges reduced to obstuction of highway, which is worlds better than a DWI conviction that would follow me for the rest of my life. This positive outcome was directly attributed to Mark and his talented team. I couldn't recommend Mark highly enough. He gave me hope in a dark time, and delivered on his word. If you are in a legal bind, and need a tough, thorough, intelligent lawyer to help you out of a jam, look no further.

Great Lawyer

All i have to say is that he got my DWI dismissed and I'm so grateful for that! He responded back on a timely manner and always keep me informed. He never sugar-coated any of the possible outcomes and truly fought for me. He is one of those lawyers that has a deep passion for his profession and it sh...ows, not only because he was willing to go all the way to trial when probably other lawyers would had advise me to take the probation but because he truly wanted the best for me. Being arrested for DWI is a life changing experience and having the right lawyer could be the difference between dealing with it for the rest of your life or getting a 2nd chance and moving on with your life with a clean record.

The BEST!

I have nothing but great praise for this gentlemen. He is excellent in all aspects! When is the last time you had your attorney's cell number?? You can always contact him. He stays in touch and keeps you up to date.

Thiessen is the ONLY choice for DWI/DUI Cases

If you're facing a drinking charge, don't shop around, call Mark immediately. Mark Thiessen leaves nothing in the bullpen, he approaches every aspect of a case and tries to visualize angles that the defense may use. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable in the realm of DWI/DUI cases, he's e...xtremely personable and doesn't throw around so much legal jargon that you're head is left spinning after a meeting. Mark will do everything in his power to help you out; his goal is to get you something you're comfortable with and doesn't settle for less. He demands honesty and respect, and returns the favor. Possibly one of his greatest assets is that he's created a reputation and rapport with many colleagues and uses that to his advantage. His confidence can sometimes be a little zealous, but it motivates him at the same time. Being charged with a Felony Intox Assault with a deadly weapon (and looking at 10 years felony probation or 4 years in prison) was a terrifying experience. I was referred to Mark by an attorney friend who had heard him lecture, calling Mark was the best decision I made. Mark fought hard for me; in the midst of a Judge/DA turnover, a summer full of drunk driving cases, and amounting issues with the complaining party, Mark was able to successfully have charges reduced to a misdemeanor DWI and 2 years probation, a feat even the Judge was impressed by. Mark entered as a lawyer, but quickly made it into the ranks of friend. He has my highest recommendation and I will be sending any friends who experience the nightmare of a drunk driving case his way.

Wonderful Attorney

Mark was great, he is the kind of attorney that you dream of. He and his staff were helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, and very professional. He, along with his team, were there for me in every sense of the word. I truly felt like they cared about me and my well-being. Mark was outstanding in cou...rt, from the jury selection all the way to the closing arguments. He is very smart and was able to challenge the science of the prosecution's expert witness just on cross examination. He has the charisma needed to win over jurors, but also the professionalism needed to maintain the highest of standards. If you want to win your case and you want the peace of mind knowing that you are in good hands, Mark is your guy. He is relentless in his approach and will ensure you are represented fully.
