I felt I was unjustly charged with Assault and Resisting arrest. I wanted to be represented by the best lawyers. After attending the many court dates associated with my case, I had many opportunities to witness and learn about how the court process works and I had the chance to see many lawyers in ...action. Of all the lawyers that I observed, there was a definite destinction between Jed Silverman [Steve Gonzalez] and nearly every other lawyer. Jed and Steve's demeanor, appearance, and overall effectiveness was destinctively apparent. Both of my charges were ended with a dismissal. This lawyer has done his homework. His team of professionals literally gave me the second chance i needed. They saw my cases through to the end and were consistant with their follow ups. I was comfortable with Jed, he is more than fair and was willing to work with me. He handled 2 first degree felony... cases for me. When all was said and done I signed for two years deferred probation for a class A misdemeanor. I was just let off probation a week ago. I was falsely accused of Indecency With a Child. I first hired another attorney who did not do his job correctly, and that lead me into a worse situation. I was indicted, and scared to death and knew that I had to find an attorney that would fight for me and who believed in me. I started internet sea...rching and emailed several different Attorney's. I did this on a Sunday afternoon, and immediately after emailing Jed he called me. I could not believe he called me on a Sunday! I was offered a plea bargain, and I declined the offer. Jed understood that I was innocent and did not take the easy way out by advising me to take the Plea Bargain. He was ready and prepared to fight for my innocence in a jury trial. We went to trial in October 2012 and it only took a jury 34 minutes to find me NOT GUILTY!! Jed is not just a good Attorney, he is also a good man with good morals! I will forever be grateful to him for believing in me and standing up for the Truth!

Mr Silverman told me his game plan from the beginning and stuck with it. He knows what he is doing. He was very honest with me and got my case dismissed with out going to trial when I believe a lot of other lawyers would have taken it to trial knowing they had a good case just to collect more money. ...Thanks Mr. Silverman .
