The Best Attorney Experience!!!!

I have worked for lawyers for 18 years or more. Brian Corrigan answers his phone, he does what he says he will and BEYOND...my son was in deep, deep trouble. Brian was able to get him the very best deal with the DA, got him moved into a safe place in the jail and also sat with my son and talked to ...him about his decision regarding his sentence. He had compassion and gave our family REAL help. He is WORTH every penny. I highly recommend this man to help you in criminal defense - he has a true heart and is a good person along with being a lawyer which is a truly RARE combination.

Trustworthy and Professional

I contacted Mr. Corrigan regarding a criminal allegation that had been made against me. I left a message and he personally returned my call the next day. Mr. Corrigan was very patient, took the time to listen, and provided professional advice without collecting a fee. Although I had faith in him and... his ability to assist me I could not afford his fee. I still wish I would have made the investment to hire him. He had a solid plan and was obviously experienced with situations similar to my own.

Attorney Client Relation

I'm concerned that many attorneys may not fully understand the implications of living in a modern era where information and data are highly valued. A key issue is that attorney-client confidentiality can be compromised when using free email services like Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail for both personal and... professional purposes. By using these third-party services, attorneys may be inadvertently violating the attorney-client relationship, as these providers have more control over the data being exchanged, including sensitive information like evidence, such as arrest footage. As someone who values privacy, I prefer to keep a low profile and not make my situation public, especially since I have trusted my attorney, Brian, and had a positive initial interaction with him. I hired Brian directly, without relying on reviews, and was impressed by his straightforward approach. He presented himself as the best attorney in Rockwall, and I found his communication style to be effective. However, I do have some concerns about the handling of my case. Brian advised me to take a plea deal which took him almost a year to negotiate, which is a common approach for attorneys, but I felt that I might have had a chance for pre-trial diversion and avoiding a Class B misdemeanor or even going to a trial. I understand that taking a plea deal can be a quick and easy way for attorneys to resolve cases, especially for solo practitioners who need to manage their time and workload. I also believe he didn’t intentionally provide me poor service but rather he did what he does without compassion to overachieve. Despite some reservations, I believe that Brian is a straightforward attorney who doesn't make promises he can't keep. As a solo practitioner, he is willing to personally respond to calls and messages, although he may occasionally forget to respond. Overall, I think Brian is a fine attorney however i find many reviews on Avvo being of concern because the content of the reviews really exceeds my experience with Brian and i know every case is unique by it’s situation etc. My final conclusion is, if you can afford consulting with multiple attorney’s. Then you should take that route with your evidence the local municipality has against you. Without evidence no attorney is willing to provide you their very honest prediction and outcome. Rockwall County is small and conservative, growing area with a rising demand for attorneys. However, the limited supply of qualified lawyers may struggle to meet this demand, potentially compromising their ability to fully commit to each case. I had alot that i could of said to make this review sound horrible but i wanted to keep the context modest and letting the audience read between the lines while iv already described my attorney client relationship could will or may have already been compromised due to poor management of data compliance and if a attorney can’t do the first obligation protecting communication then you should know better.

Dear anonymous, I welcome any feedback from clients. I would’ve appreciated this feedback before we resolved the case you are describing which is not readily apparent from your description. I try for a pre-trial diversion for all clients where it might be possible but the DA’s Office sets the eligibility and if you’re not eligible, you cannot get in. I am also puzzled by you listing email platforms that I don’t use to communicate with clients. In cases where I cannot get a pre-trial diversion we make the best of the situation. If you had more questions, I wish you would’ve asked before resolving your case while feeling dissatisfied. In any case where my client has reservations about the resolution of their case, I’m always able to address those concerns if they are brought up to me. Finally, I’m always happy to issue refunds in rare cases where a client feels like I did not live up to the expectations. I wish you the best and I’m happy to answer any follow up questions. Just contact my office. Take care, Brian Corrigan

Court appointed lawyer got me less of a charge

Brian couldn't get me what court appointed ended up getting me charged with. Court appointed lawyer was better than Brian getting way less of a charge than Brian was seeking to get!! High Priced lawyer with unsatisfied results!!

No current or past client has expressed any dissatisfaction with my representation to me so this is surprising. Also, I have had no recent cases where the client could not pay me and finished with a court appointed lawyer. I cannot allay your concerns if you post them anonymously. That said, I am sorry that you feel this way. I urge you to contact me immediately to remedy your concerns or release you as a client with a generous refund.
