I searched for a lawyer for a somewhat "involved" case of expungement for misdemeanor crime committed when I was a juvenile. It was covered by two separate statutes, making for some ambiguity. I must have talked to fifteen different lawyers whose opinions varied from "no possibility of expunction" to... "its a gamble" based on which district judge picked up the case. Mr. Edgett was not only better acquainted with the individual statues than the other lawyers, but he knew of the specific conventions with which these cases are handled in the Dallas area, and how we could proceed with near certainty of expungement. He was prompt, courteous, reassuring, approachable, and professional. My only frustration is that I wasn't able to find him sooner, as he did not appear on most of the relevant internet searches. A fantastic attorney, I recommend him with the fullest confidence.

Honestly, I had no idea what to expect from a lawyer, but when I consulted with him he gave me a lot more options than other lawyers I had seen. While all told me I'd have to go on probation, he promised me ways to impress the judge so that my sentence would be easy. I could text or call him at any t...ime and he was very relaxed and honest with me. If I couldn't make a payment one day, he would give me another day or two to get it to him without pestering me. He has a lot of experience with different cases and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is new to the legal system. (Esp. drug related cases.)
