I found John to have a thorough understanding of the nuances of Nebraska divorce law and be able to communicate likely scenarios, as well is best and worst case situations. ... I have talked with many people who hesitate calling their attorney with a question because of fears of running up their legal bills with every phone call. I found John's rating structure to be fair, and possibly more importantly, to encourage clients to call with questions and concerns. Like most professionals, John’s schedule does not always allow him to answer or respond to calls immediately. However, I found that John or someone on his staff would usually acknowledge my communications almost immediately, and get me thoughtful answers in a timely manner. I made the switch to John more than half way through my divorce because I was very unhappy with the counsel I had first hired. He was very different than my first attorney, actually accomplishing things and not wasting valuable time on petty emails and bickering from my ex that didn't matter. John ha...s a special character that you don't see in most attorneys. He has a compassionate personality to help talk you off the ledge when stressed; however, is able to pull the emotion out of the case and focus on what's most important. He will tell you what the court cares about and he will work hard to win for you. He did these things for me and I couldn't be more pleased with his work ethic, his determination and his skills and demeanor in the courtroom.
