Immigration case

I had a very disappointing experience with this immigration lawyer. After charging me $5,000, he only wrote a letter to immigration and provided no further assistance or follow-up on my case. I felt unsupported and neglected throughout the process. His employee, Christina S. Castro, was particularly ...rude and unfriendly, adding to the frustration. Based on my experience, I do not recommend hiring this lawyer if you want someone who genuinely cares about your case. Save your money and find someone more trustworthy.

An Unprofessional, Mean Spirited Attorney

In and around 2017 I sought out Mr. Hacking for a consultation regarding trying to adjust my status to permanent resident. I applied for something I wasn’t eligible for and had gone to a lawyer who convinced me to continue on with the process. When I reached out to Mr. Hacking and he called me back h...is approach was that of a tyrant. I was confused and needed guidance; however Mr. Hacking raised his voice to a monstrous level when I refused to give him the name of the lawyer who had “helped” me. He screamed at me during the call, shouting YOU ARE IN SERIOUS DANGER and was irate to a degree I’ve never experienced in my life. When I tried to speak and offer my thoughts, he mimicked my speaking pattern and ridiculed the fact that I was distraught. I have never had a worse customer service experience in my life. I’m writing this review years after the fact only because Mr. Hacking is not a kind and empathetic individual. He should be nowhere near helping folks achieve their immigration dream. As a matter of fact when I brought up the fact that I’d been trying to figure the process out his reply was “It doesn’t matter.” Well, I’m happy to report that I’m still pursuing that American dream. Yes, it does matter what my dreams, goals and aspirations are. I simply hope people are made aware of what my experience was and that this is not a person who should be helping immigrants through the adjustment process.

un-American

Say one person runs a red light and one doesn't the judge can't give a guilty verdict to an innocent party and not give a guilty verdict to the guilty one. The same holds true with the US government using covid-19 as an excuse not to do our K1 fiance visa interview and allowing The invasion on the s...outhern border with no covid testing and none of the other requirements of legal immigration. Mr Hacking decided not to pursue the facts and used a TurboTax type representation of my case. When asked why he didn't use the facts doesn't respond. Could it be there's more money to be made somewhere else? Just my opinion, he took my money then told me I needed to get married and start all over while everything continues on the southern border. He also told me he would not do any more work on my case. You decide check him out

Dishonest

I hired Jim hacking for a long time pending AOS lawsuit in federal court on April 2020. They got to work pretty quickly and filled the suit. But problems started right after the first deadline which USCIS supposed to answer , he went ahead without my knowledge gave them 45days extension, you would ...think that was the only one, but no he gave them two more extensions and when the USCIS asked for the fourth one I was outraged. Mr hacking started coercing me and did anything he could not to do his job. All those times that I waiting for an adjudication I had to email them and push them to get updates from US attorney otherwise they wouldn’t disclose or actually do anything. Here I am more than 7 months later and $4000 down out of pocket going to hire an attorney that actually fight for me. They took advantage of my immigration status and my lower hand in the game as much as they could.

Beware i was told you will have to pay a consultation fee to find out how much the fee will be for representation.

I called today to ask the for a consultation. The man told me I would have to pay 100 dollars for the consultation. I asked if I could get the price for a fiancé visa. I was told I would have to pay for the consultation and the attorney would tell me the price then. I asked him 3 times to be sure I ...was understanding him correctly.

Yes, we do charge for our initial consults. And no, we do not give out our legal fees over the telephone.
