Perfect

When I called Mr. Mitchell sexner, it was weekend and I had to leave town by monday. He arranged to meet me over the weekend and assured me he will take care of everything. He kept in contact and did just as promised.

Super Happy

My son who is 16 just got his second speeding ticket. We are new to the area and didn't know who to call. My wife came across a mailer with Mr. Sexnors firm listed right on it. We contacted Mitchell Sexnoers' Law firm and our worries were gone. From the first call right through to the court date ...the lines of communication were wide open and we were never left wondering. Very professional caring lawyers

I had some legal problems recently and didn't know what to do. I received a few mailers and called a few of them. Mitchell called me right back. He told me the worst that could happen and the best. His staff of attorneys worked hard to get me the best outcome. At all times I felt very protected ...by them. He also worked with me on payments and for that I am appreciative. I would highly recommend Mitchel and his staff

Responsive, informative, and effective.

Knowledge of the Statutes and Experience Saved the Day!

I interviewed several criminal attorneys as I was facing a felony criminal charge. Mitch Sexner stood head and shoulders above the rest as he quickly grasped my situation during the initial interview--at no cost, of course. He went right to the law book and gave me his read on the statutes as they ...applied to my case. He quickly offered real hope and saw through the holes in the formal charges against me. I was advised of their team approach to my case in that they would "put their heads together" to make sure I received the best counsel. The fees for their services were clearly explained and were in line or better than what I had been quoted by others. I thought it over for a few days and made my decision to hire them---although, in truth, I knew that day they were the right firm. Owen Greenberg was assigned as my counsel. We had our initial interview within a few days. I was encouraged by the depth of Owen's trial experience and his knowledge of the criminal statue that applied to my particular charge. As I read the statute, I thought I was guilty of what was stated within it. It was Owen's vast experience in dealing with clients similarly charged that saw the nuance in the statute that would disqualify that charge from convicting me. He advised me that many Illinois statutes are similarly vaguely written and hard to understand. Accordingly, he filed a motion to dismiss which was heard at the third court appearance. It was Owen's research of past cases that were dismissed along these lines, as well as his extremely professional and well organized presentation to the judge that caused the DA to re-file the complaint as a misdemeanor before the judge would have actually ruled to dismiss the felony charge outright. Further, Owen, negotiated a plea bargain that very day on the new misdemeanor charge. I left the court that day--a great surprise to all---with a negotiated plea---that resulted in one year probation with psychiatric evaluation. No jail time. A far cry to the 1 to 6 year prison sentence I was facing. Just before I left the courtroom that day, the Public Defender (who had observed the proceedings) that would have been assigned to my case came over to me and said, "You have the world's greatest attorney!" I doubt that she would have known about the nuance in the felony statute. I should also note that Mr. Greenberg also was known and respected in the courtroom. He also knew well the characteristics of the "no nonsense" judge we were appearing before. That is why his demeanor and well-organized and concise presentation was so effective and well received. Finally, there has been some additional follow-up in terms of the requirements of my probation, and they have been very willing to help out with that with no additional fee after the case had really been settled. I am extremely grateful for all that they provided me---including respect for me as a person, even with shameful criminal charges against me. I have had 3-5 other attorneys over the years. None hold a candle to Sexner & Associates!
