Insightful and helpful

Mitch personally helped me with a difficult case, and one with few options. He gave me pragmatic advice, and a useful strategy. It is expert advise like this that people depend on... not gaming the system that lawyers are allowed to do that makes his honesty and integrity so valuable.

Great legal practice

We are very satisfied with Sexner & Associates. Our attorney Ari was very diligent in representing us in our action. We won our case due to his experience and legal acumen.

They did a good job and I am very happy with the representation.

I had a disorderly conduct charge and went to Sexner and associates for a consultation. Mitchell gave me a good amount of time on my initial and charge free consultation. After going through the initial conversation I decided to have Sexner and Associates represent me on my case. My attorney was ...Ari and as a personality I though he was great! I never felt uncomfortable in a meeting with him. I think most of their clients have very serious charges like DUIs and Ari came in ready for a heavy hitter, even though my case was relatively trivial. During the trial Ari played everything so cool. At first I thought he was being passive, and by not saying much he wasn't doing much, but it was all part of his plan. He let the state and the officer humiliate themselves. Granted the state had no case, but I will be lying if I said that their humiliation didn't make me smile a bit. Ari literally asked the officer - Did my client do what the charge says he did?, and the cop had no choice to say "No" A not guilty verdict followed immediately. Something also worth mentioning is that while I was waiting in court Ari had another case for a DUI charge and a petty offence of failing to slow down to avoid accident. I watched that trial and the DUI charge was dismissed. I would highly recommend Mitchell and Ari for any criminal defense legal services. Side note, my total cost for some paperwork retrieval and 2 court appearances was about $2500. For Cook county, where I live I think that is quite reasonable for a good criminal defense lawyer. Here is a Summary of my case for context: Cook country sheriff came to my house because I have a dog and a Nicor Gas utility worker felt threatened by the dog even though the dog was locked in the bedroom. Once police arrived they requested to come in my house and observe the worker while he did his job. I allowed them access. One of the officers stood by the door and observed. The other started walking around from the living room to the kitchen. I asked the officer to either stand by the door or take off his shoes if he wants to walk around. He refused either. I then asked him to leave multiple times, again he refused. I asked for directions on contacting his captain and was instructed to call 911. I called and made my request, dispatch told me they would send someone and to call back again if anything changes. I heard the officer receiving a confirmation for the supervisor request on his radio and he denied it. I called dispatch again and insisted that I would like to speak with his superior officer. Once more told me they will have someone come to my house. After my 2nd call the officer told me that no superior would be coming and if I ask for one again he will arrest me. I notified dispatch of the threat I had received and was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct (I don't remember the exact wording but basically disturbing the peace class B misdemeanor). I had all the calls and interaction recorded and on the day of the trial the state could not make any case for that charge and wanted to amend it to using 911 to make a false report, class A misdemeanor . That was just as, if not more ridiculous than the original charge. The state tried to extort 20 hours of community service from me because of that unlawful arrest and the judge was somewhat skeptical at the begging considering the change can have up to 1 year in jail and $2500 in fees. But I knew I had done nothing wrong and had confidence in Ari and it all worked out like it should.

Happiness with Result

When I appeared in Court on the 1st of Feb. I expected the worst and after talking with the Lawyer I hired to represent me. I discussed what happened and why I was appearing again for a two year old case. She talked with the State Attorney and came back to me with the offer of a lower fee and supervi...sion I was so happy that I wouldn't have to worry any longer about this.
