Teresa McAdams Is by far the best lawyer I've ever had represent me. She's never missed a court date and went beyond to make sure I had all the information I needed to make any and all decisions necessary to my case... I honestly credit my not being on death row to the work Teresa put into my case. i...f the ILL things being said about her hard work and professionlism were being said of the other lawyers I'd had I could believe it... but Mrs. McAdams worked overtime and faithfully to see that I had the best defense possible... She never lied to me or held anything back from me. if she knew she made sure I knew it as well "right away", she came in on my case after I'd been fighting it for five years and brought to light a great many detail, facts, era's that were being over looked or simply not being shared with me. Hiring Teresa was the best decision I could have made for my 2 separate complicated cases. When I first contacted Teresa and she came to visit me in the county jail that evening. After I explained to her what I was facing and presented all the information I had, she then proceeded to explain to me ...some of my options. I decided to take my case to a trial and have the jury decided my verdict. The State of IL was trying to give me a minimum of 13 years, so this was not easy case to try and beat. Both Teresa and I were very confident that we would receive the outcome we both intended. During the trail process, Teresa was very knowledgeable and was always available to answer any questions or concerns I might have had. Teresa was also very reassuring throughout the entire process. She was at all my court dates and stood by my side. As an end result, the jury found me not guilty!! My second case, it was not as complicated and I received a lesser penalty. I received no jail time and again Teresa stood by my side. She was always supportive and understanding.
