I retained Phil (on the recommendation from a friend) to help with a title issue that was delaying the closing of my house. The bank wasn't making any progress and wasn't helping at all. I am naturally hesitant and weary of lawyers because I have had such bad experiences in the past, so I tried to ta...ke care of everything myself, but that wasn't working out so well. Phil was very responsive (a first for every lawyer I've hired) and kept me updated on the title issue as he was getting it figured out. He resolved the title issue pretty quickly and I figured that I would ask him to do the closing as well. This is the third closing I've been at in my life and easily the smoothest. Phil was very thorough with the documents and pointed out a few issues that were taken care of right there at the title company. During the closing I also found out that Phil has a very active sense of humor (another first for every lawyer I've worked with) so he had everyone at the closing in stitches (an entertaining real estate closing - another first). If I ever need a lawyer in the future Phil will be the first person I call. I highly recommend him to anyone for any legal issues they may be having. He's a young attorney (which I was initially hesitant about) but he knew the law inside and out. I've dealt with 4 or 5 lawyers in my life and he is easily the best of all of them. Thank you!!!
