The best lawyer so far

I was in an urgent need for a lawyer. I selected her as my lawyer because she was close to my work place and she had excellent reviews. She was very clear from beginning about her expectation from me and my goal setting and promises. She started on my case immediately once we sign the contract and c...ontacted the other lawyers. She was very resource full and getting us consulted with the best lawyers in specific topics Such as HIPPA and IT experts. Her writings to the other party were very simple and to the point but very legally powerful and convincing. She takes her time in her writings and responses and this definitely made my case turn around to the winning side. Despite her being busy, she had very good time efficiency and superiority in mastering the task that she has in front of her. She's honest about her billing and her prices are very reasonable for the job she does. So far she's the best I had, and I Highly recommend her,

Litigation Lawyer - "angel on earth"....simply the best you could ever dream of having!

If you are looking for not just "any" litigation lawyer but the BEST available in Chicagoland, here she is! Denise isn't just the best Litigation Lawyer either! she is an "angel on earth"... the best you could ever dream of having! She has always been very upfront, honest, knowledgeable, and v...ery in depth on legal documentation of case history to support my case. The judges so far we have had were extremely impressed by the depth of her arguments with supporting case history, which will prove invaluable in my case vs. former landlord lawsuit. Landlord didn't give me back my deposit for no other reason than she thought she could get away with it as she had before. Denise found the landlord had 100+ cases either by/ or against her. Denise is trying very hard to get rid of this lawsuit which from the onset seems laughable but as she says....anyone can file any lawsuit against anyone even if it should be tossed out of court. My 1st amendment rights of "freedom of speech" are being called into question as I left an angry voicemail to landlord after she refused to give back my deposit & even holding it hostage until I had removed a DISH satellite dish from a parapet wall on roof which she authorized & not a problem until 40 days after we moved out & her roofer wanted extra $$ for having removed all the satellites of past tenants. she claimed my language caused her "irreversable" harm...medical issues, & stress requiring medical attention to deal with. None of it true. per my wife, her own building managers said worse to her face than I had & she didn't flinch at their words. She brought this lawsuit onto me 1 year after I had moved out & after I put a lawsuit against her in Cook Co. for abuse she dealt us & not paying our deposit back in timely manner nor following Cook Co. standard tenant agreement form regulations regarding overcharging rent for faulty building with heat, water, structural problems. Denise pushed it successfully to a lower court, & now trying to get it dismissed completely. With success we hopefully will get it removed completely as a lawsuit. Denise has spent countless hours researching our case history, getting past court case history documents & statutes to be added to our case. She also has worked tirelessly on this for us. I highly recommend her not just for her professional prowess, but also for her honest personality which shows she has a good heart, cares about all of her clients personally, tries to help as she can, & a very decent person with morals, ethics, & integrity. Her career will be full of future success stories & cases won for honest people who have or are being taken advantage of in lawsuits against them. This landlord had pushed me over the edge after dealing with her non-sense & abuses while we lived there...including lack of heat that worked not consistently in all apartment rooms, bad water pressure/not hot water in kitchen, & being blamed for all of her bldg. maintenance issues...including water pipes in ceiling below our apartment bedroom bursting, causing huge water mess to bedroom below us. She accused us of having a waterbed, saying our leaking bed caused the problems to room below us. She insisted to come immediately into our apt. to see for herself as she didn't believe we had no waterbed or that no water was coming from our bedroom to below. She didn't give 24 hr notice...nor did she accept our response as fact that we had no waterbed /nor caused the water problem. In her head we always were the cause of her maintenance problems of her old faulty building.

Great Lawyer

If you want a lawyer who gets great results, returns phone calls and e-mails quickly, and can explains things to you so they make sense, I recommend that you hire Denise Erlich. Denise did a wonderful job handling a dispute I had when I recently bought a house. The house had basement leaks the sell...er did not disclose. We got water in the basement three times in the first six months we lived there. We had to rip some drywall and all carpeting (both which were ruined) out of our basement in order to fix the foundation. The cost of fixing the foundation problems and replacing the drywall and carpeting was around $8,000. I tried to get the seller to sit down to negotiate some sort of compromise but he wasn’t interested -- in fact, he told me, “you own it now…it’s your problem now”. Someone recommended I hire Denise. Denise sorted out all of the issues, which there were several, like requirements of the disclosure form and the fact that the house had been vacant and owned by the deceased seller’s estate. Denise spoke with the seller and the company that repaired the foundation and believed we could prove that there was an existing problem that the seller didn’t disclose. She did warn me that the trustee of the estate that signed the legal disclosure may not have been under the same legal requirement to disclose the prior water leaks. Denise explained all of the risks and options to me. I was hesitant to sue since I had never sued anybody, but because the sellers refused to try to work it out, we decided to file a lawsuit since I really wanted the sellers to pay the $8,000! Denise was all ready for trial, with witnesses lined up to testify, and I think the seller’s trustee thought they could lose. Two days before the trial, Denise settled the case with the seller’s lawyer. I was extremely pleased with the settlement I received because I could have rolled the dice, taken a day off from work, spent legal fees for a trial, and there was a chance I could lose. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with the way Denise handled my case and got me a great result without having to go to trial. I strongly recommend Denise Erlich if you are looking for a great lawyer to represent you!

Solution Oriented

Attorney Erlich receives my highest recommendation. She handled my case with expediency, legal excellence and genuine concern. She provided the advocacy I needed when I was most vulnerable. Recently I was in a dispute with a long-distance Moving Company. My attempt to settle the dispute was un...productive. In frustration, I considered a small claims suit and emailed 4 attorneys to gather their advice. The financial amount in question was very, very small ($500.00). Three of the four attorneys informed me that I did not need a lawyer to pursue such a small claim. Rightly so; I knew that this was something I could do on my own; but what they failed to realize was that I needed someone to talk me through this dilemma. It was not the money that prompted me as much as it was the way I was being dismissed by the company. Denise understood this. She contacted me and listened to my complaint. Next, she explained to me what were viable legal actions and what were not. Then, to my surprise, she advised me to contact the company one more time. This was the beginning of the end of what could have been a long and futile exchange. With her assistance the issue was settled within two weeks. Denise provided clarity (informing me what was realistic and what was not); patience (giving me time to think through the pros and cons of the dilemma); and guidance (trusting me to synthesize the information and make the best decision for myself). If future needs arise, Denise P. Erlich will be the attorney I hire.
