I would not recommend Stavri Vako and I am considering filing a complaint with the Illinois Bar Association. I have an excellent driving record and recently received a minor speeding ticket. I believe the officer’s radar captured the vehicle that was passing me, not my car. We both had similar black... SUVs. I wanted to fight the ticket. I contacted three attorneys. The first two told me to save the legal fees, go to court and ask for supervision. Both said this was standard and, with my word against the officers, the court usually sides with the officer. Mr. Vako told me he could get the charge dismissed, so I hired him. On the day of court, I learned that I was already found guilty a week prior to my court date. Apparently, Mr. Vako never told me of the prior court date. It took several hours to get a new court time and it appeared Vako was making the Judge angry when he told him he “Fixed” the prior guilty verdict. Because I (or my attorney Vako) did not show up in court, the first time, I learned my license can now be suspended. Vako told me to watch for a letter from the Illinois Secretary of State suspending my license.

After a suggestion from a friend, we contacted Mr. Vako to discuss a “failing to make a complete stop” traffic ticket for a minor. He was upfront and clear on how to proceed and what the fees would be. Mr. Vako was very responsive to our questions and it all went as explained. I appreciate that he ha...d honest conversation with said minor regarding the situation, the importance of driving within the laws, and yet not talking down to him. Thank you.

I was arrested for a dui and contacted Vako Law right away. I had no idea how to proceed but he took care of everything from step a to step z. Never lost my license. Took my case to trial and got a not guilty. Went from the scariest day of my life to the happiest day of my life. Highly recommend him....
