Prior to the trial I am sure that Mr. Springstead used whatever resources and influence he had to persuade the prosecutor to accept a more lenient plea, so trial was avoided and my son was given an acceptable solution. The only thing that I would have wanted otherwise, would have been to have been kept apprised of the situation more frequently as it unfolded. However, in defense of Mr. Springstead's actions, I realize that my son was his client, and not me, so professional ethics would require him to communicate with my son about the case, and not me. And my son is so secretive about his personal life that he wouldn't divulge anything even when tortured by the Inquisition. So, I think Mr. Springstead did everything right in this case.
