I hired Joe out of some online reviews because had no point of reference/recommendations of a good lawyer in the Cincinnati area and needed one asap. Met with him at his office where he was very professional, understanding, informative and really took his time to explain the next steps and possible ...outcomes of my DUI case. My situation was complicated as there was an accident involved and a prior record. That said, I truly appreciated Joe’s honesty and candid ways the first time we met and thorough the process. Went to trial 2 weeks ago and Joe was able to successfully mitigate my fees and overall consequences with the Judge. He did a great job at speaking on my behalf and was able to get me a good deal without any jail time –which was my #1 fear. I do have to pay court fees, attend a DIP, year probation and license suspension BUT this is nothing compared to what I was expecting…Learned my lesson (for sure) and of course, I hope not to hire him ever again but would recommend him if any of my friends/family run into trouble. Now, I can give closure to this awful life chapter in a manner that feels fair and less detrimental for my career and personal life; thanks to Joe, his team and the ultimate decision of the Judge.

I got arrested and charged for a DUI that I did not commit, and I made some poor decisions in handling it (i.e. refusing a BAC) because I did not fully understand the legal implications. Joe was very knowledgeable about all aspects of DUI law (from the perspective of both an attorney and an officer).... He was able to get me acquitted of all charges. Throughout the entire process, Joe made himself very available should any questions or concerns arise. He kept both my family and me informed of all developments and was able to give good advice on how to proceed with the case. He was also extremely respectful and understanding, which is a trait that should not be underestimated when scared and facing the prospect of months of legal proceedings and a trial.

Joe was excellent to work with and was able to negotiate my OVI (1st) down to a Reckless Operation. Having never been in this situation before (and hopefully never finding myself here again), I was horrified to say the least. Joe was extremely patient and kind in answering all my questions and expla...ining possible outcomes. I could not have asked for a better result. I would recommend Joe to anyone finding themselves in the same predicament.

I was facing a second OVI?DUI, and ended up just paying for a speeding ticket. Mr. Suhre was able to get it dismissed. He knows the laws, but more importantly, he knows the judges, prosecutors, and even the police force. He knows how to get you the best outcome for whatever situation you are in. Wit...h you every step of the way. I hesitated calling a lawyer because of the cost and embarrassment. There is no way I would have gotten the deal I got on my own. And he never made me feel ashamed. He even stuck around even after my case was settled and gave me some good advice on the way out! Sooo worth it. Good man, and the best (and hopefully last I'll ever need) lawyer out there.
