I was having trouble with my drinking and subsequently racked up 3 DUI's within a five year period. So after several years of being away from Cincinnati, I decided it was time to resolve this matter. Mr Suhre was rated the best DUI attorney in town by the Cincy Magazine 4 years running. After the fre...e intial consultation, Mr. Suhre got my warrant removed, a new court date set, and when it was all said and done, I received 6 days in the Talbert House Driver Intervention Program. Not bad considering I was facing some substantial jail time. Not only that, but my driving suspension was retro-active so I can get a license right away. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, and his constant contact (via email). I would recommend him to anyone.

A little over 3 years ago, I was arrested for a DUI. I contacted several lawyers to find the right one to represent my case. Most of them made me feel like I was just another number in their books and another dollar in their pocket. Joe was the first lawyer that made me feel like he was there for ...me! He found loopholes to help me out with my case and got my license back for within a week. He was able to help me get my charge aquitted. where as the other lawyers I had talked to wanted to charge me to plea bargain for reckless op. My case was to good to say, "ok I'll take reckless op" I am very thankful that Joe was able to help me with that case. since then, I have contacted him for other charges I dont want to mention, but he was able to get me a lesser charge, with the plea bargaining. I have referred him to several of my friends for various charges and legal advice. He also has helped my father with his DUI charge. Having Joe represent him made his life easier. My father was granted driving privilages, and a smaller punishment If he had not gone with joe to represent him. Joe is a very knowledgeable man when it comes to the law. He is someone that I will always have in my life for legal advice. I find that as time goes by, I contact him more and more. Mostly for legal advice in various situations for myself or family. If joe cannot help me, he always referrs me to someone that can. I can trust anyone that joe refers me to because I know that he is a very knowledgeable man and he knows many people in the court system.

I was in need of an attorney in the Cincy area very quickly for a DUI situation. When I contacted Suhre and Associates I was immediately put in touch with Joe. He understood my urgency and immediately went to work for me. He was very professional, courteous, and accomodating through my entire case.... Since I do not live in that area he was willing to work with the judge so that i did not have to appear for certain court dates and save me from driving down there. He kept me very informed about every step of my case via email and fax which was my preference. What i also enjoyed about Joe is that he is personable and put me at ease during a very stressful situation for me. I would highly recommend Joe for representation.

When reaching out to Suhre & Associates, I had never been in trouble with the law and was very nervous about receiving an unwarranted OVI ticket. After a consultation, there was a price mentioned ($3,500) which sounded like the full price of the services. I hired one of Joes lawyers. A few months lat...er, after an initial court hearing, there was another invoice sent for an additional $2,500 for the continuation of her services. This was not mentioned in our consultation, so naming a price to get hired and then bumping it up once the services started is shady and not transparent. I didn’t have any other option and luckily I had been saving up, so I emptied my savings account to pay the rest. I contacted Joe to talk about the situation. His tone and answers to my questions on the phone were far from calming. There was no apology for the lack of transparency and he made me seem like I was just some criminal; being short, not willing to hear my side, and talking over me consistently. I’m happy that I was able to win my case, but I don’t believe Suhre & Associates was the reason for it. Lack of transparency at the beginning and no empathy/good communication with a paying client. If Joe Suhre or Miranda Holbrook could get me in touch with a lawyer that doesn’t have a conflict of interest with the city or the officer involved, and can help me get the $6,000 that I HAD to spend in order to prove my innocence, I’d absolutely consider amending or deleting this review.
