After a DUI arrest last July, I didn't shop around for a lawyer, I just got lucky that my first stop was Johnny Houston. Johnny was able to get my DUI charge reduced to reckless driving, which considering the circumstances was an awesome outcome. It took almost a year to get it resolved, and aft...er numerous court dates I was getting discouraged. I thought perhaps I should have just saved the expense of a lawyer, and without representation pleaded guilty if I could have gotten the minimum sentence. What a huge mistake that would have been ! I was facing serous DUI charges with new laws on the books which allow a 20 year look-back period if a prior was found within the first 10 year look back period.
