03/25/2024 My best advice is to save your money and go with a Public Defender for a DUI rather than Ms. Rizzo. Ms. Rizzo seems to be working off her past laurels. When my son contacted her about a DUI, he received it on 02/15/2022. She stated she required an $8,000 retainer first to proceed after w...hich she filed a plea of not guilty. After a year and a half of requesting an extension after extension, she finally stated “I’ve gone as far as I can and the best “Plea Deal” I can get is a DUI with no jail time.” Upon relying on her as a professional who went diligently over the evidence, a plea of “No Contes” was submitted. Due to the lack of poor judgment, it was only then that we were able to review the case facts, to reveal serval issues of false information by the arresting deputy that could have possibly led to a dismissal. To her discredit, Ms. Rizzo failed to do her due diligence to address any of the issues or deal with the theft of his personal property. Her actions made It seem that her main objective was to receive payment and throw the case into the system while moving on to the next client. The reviews posted of Ms. Rizzo (most current 03/2022) seem to be opposites of her performance. B.
