Terrible experince!!!!
Darrin Mish's off took 5 months to remove a simple tax levy. My net income at the time was $ 5600.00 and they finally got a installment agreement for $4447.00! How could I live on that? The case worker they got from the tax advocate office lost my file six times as I was only allowed to take home $72...
One of the problems that people sometimes run into is that the IRS levies their wages and the person hasn't filed returns in many years. This can make a wage levy almost impossible to remove. The client has no leverage and the IRS has all the power. Furthermore, there is a direct correlation between a client's willingness and ability to cooperate and the results that are obtained. I'm genuinely saddened that this occurred to you. As far as I never worked on the file, I have been the only tax lawyer on staff for over a year. This must have occurred quite some time ago. If you give me a call at (813) 229-7100 I'm willing to see what I can do for you.

Completely disappointed in the lack of professionalism
We hired Darren to handle an IRS tax issue that became our problem when our father passed away. We paid for their services and while we thought our issue was being handled, we received a letter from the IRS that Darren T. Mish was no longer representing us. Not a word from him or his associates, we...
I am aware of this case. This gentleman was not the client. His sister was actually the client. The two of them did not communicate well with each other. The issue actually turned out very well but this gentleman wanted to call repeatedly and demand that we spend time explaining issues to him when he was not the client. He generally had a very poor attitude and was very demanding. As for the fact that I did not return his calls, my attitude was that he was not the client, his sister received a great result and that should have sufficed. I suppose in hindsight, I should have taken his call and his abuse. It's likely he still would have posted a negative review. He could not be satisfied no matter the outcome.

Bewrae of this Firm and Office Manager Misti Moss
Same problem here too. Absolutely the worst experience ever had with an attorney. The office manager Misti Moss the worst person to ask help from. The attorney mr. Mish wont even return the calls if they get past the office manager. Lost my records and took my money and no help and no response to fix...
I believe this to be the same poster as above. Many people do want to speak to me when I am not the assigned attorney. Many of these people have complaints despite the fact that they completely fail to cooperate with us as counsel, then want to complain about a poor outcome. If you call and speak to Ms. Moss, I am sure you will agree that she is as close to a saint as they come. Some clients simply don't want to accept any responsibility for their own problems and completely fail to cooperate. The fact that you write a check does not mean that your problems will completely disappear. You have to help us help you.

Terrible
Totally unresponsive, totally unprofessional. Took my money and did nothing. Then he wanted more money to more of nothing. He is very unethical. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
This particular individual signed a written engagement letter that was also explained verbally to him. When it came time to pay for additional services he attempted to strong arm us into doing years of additional work for free. He said he would post a negative review unless we did so and here it is. My hope is that all clients would be happy at the end of an engagement. Unfortunately, that isn't always the case.
