owner

As a long time entrepreneur and business owner in both good times and bad, I have a lot of experience with both attorneys and the IRS and Darrin is both one of the sharpest lawyers I know but also THE sharpest I have ever met in IRS problem resolution. I can think of no single reason why you would w...ant to use anyone else.

I have not met anyone with a more thorough knowledge of this area of Law. Mr. Mish gets outstanding results. He is a professional in the truest sense of the word.

"This Man Is Not Only An Excellant Lawyer, He Is Also Cool Under Pressure".

I came to Mr. Mish owing the IRS over $100,000.00. I was desperate and I was scared. The first thing Mr. Mish did was sit down with me and explain that there was a solution to my problem. We put together a plan that would allow me to pay off my debt without them garnashing my wages or taking my ...assets. Initially, the IRS rejected our plan several times. However, Mr. Mish and his highly competant staff convinced the IRS to make a Compromise deal with me for a fraction of my original debt. I also had legal problems related to my IRS debt that Mr. Mish at his own expense ,came to Court and testified in my behalf. This man genuinly cares about people and is passionate about his work. What he charged me for his services was more than reasonable. He and his team are a " Class " operation all the way. I have referred many people to him. I just can't say enough about Mr. Mish. He and his staff helped me and my family overcome one of the most difficult periods in our lives. -Pedro

highly disappointed

I feel as though I was ripped off. After two years of fees with that firm, I couldn't afford to pay more. I had great success just going directly to IRS and wished I had not wasted my time with Mr. Mish. I don't feel that he had my best interest at heart, just interested in fees.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feelings regarding your experience with us. I'm sorry for anything we did to make you feel negatively towards our firm. Frankly it came as a surprise given our strong commitment to taking care of our clients. Our reviews show that, as well as our long string of victories cleaning up our client's IRS problems. Though we are very good at what we do we do for our clients, we do need active participation from them to be able to be able to help them. That means we need the information we request from them, when we request it. Otherwise it shuts down the entire works regarding what we can accomplish for them. If you call me at (813) 229-7100 I'd love to hear your specific thoughts regarding your experience with us. Again, I'm sorry your experience with us wasn't what you had hoped it would be. Give me a call and let's see if we can get things straightened out.

Dont Use He Will Take your Money, and do nothing but miss lead you.

I went to Darrin Mish and paid him to settle IRS problem. and I met with every Attorney and employee in his office. I sent my records over to them 3 times and every time they lost them. And I sent them by registered mail. Finally I had to hand deliver them to his office. To make a long story short he... was untruthful and very nonprofessional to be an atty. So I would not recommend any to this Atty. I ended up settling it on my own, and what I paid him would have paid half my settlement.

The first time I read your review I was disappointed. Not for the reason that you probably think. I was disappointed that you felt like your case didn’t matter or that it wasn’t handled appropriately. Poor business reviews are an opportunity for me to see where we fell short. They allow me to see what I may not have seen before and they allow me to set goals to improve in those areas of shortcomings. All businesses fall short sometimes. I wish that that wasn’t the case. I know that your case has been closed for at least three years. How do I know this? I know because I personally handle every matter and there have been NO instances as you describe during that time frame. Sometimes clients feel frustration (and perhaps rightfully so) when they are repeatedly asked for documentation. Sometimes this is because the client can’t get themselves current (meaning all past returns filed and estimated tax payments made) and then the case slides further and further down the line. It becomes unsolvable because the taxpayer actively is making the problem worse every day! When you aren’t having sufficient withholding or making appropriate estimated tax payments, NO professional can resolve an IRS problem. Another very common problem is that clients are asked to provide complete documentation but they only provide some of the documentation. This again, results in the delayed resolution of the case. In the past, I made a serious error. The error was that I was too forgiving of clients who didn’t fully cooperate. They would have excuses and any number of reasons why they couldn’t possibly do the reasonable things that I was asking them to do. But I’ve learned something fascinating over the years. The nicer I am to them (meaning the more time I give them to procrastinate) the longer the case ultimately takes to resolve. And even more fascinating is the fact that clients begin to blame ME for how long the matter has taken to be resolved. In order for me to truly help, I have to PUSH the case along, offer some tough but kind hearted love, and move the case to final resolution. That’s what we have been doing since January 2014. Lastly, I have been the ONLY attorney in the firm for almost two years now. During 2011 and 2012 we experienced tremendous growth that did cause some challenges in client communication. Those have been rectified for over two years now. I am genuinely happy to hear that you resolved your problems with the IRS. No one deserves to have that hang over their head. I’m very sorry that things didn’t work out between us. I will use this review to strive to not only meet but exceed future client’s expectations.
