Bad attitude, unreliable working ethic.

I had an initial meeting with Fernando months before. I waited for him for half an hour at his home office until he showed up. We discussed some details about my L1 visa. He explained some information to me. When I walked out of his meeting room, I saw his assistant playing computer games.... According to his attitude and his assistant's work ethic, I believe this place is kind of shady. I don't recommend people to work with him.

First, I think this person has me confused with another attorney, as I do not have a home office. Second, assuming it was my office, immigration interviews and court appearances sometimes go longer than anticipated. This is something we have no control over. In addition, the rest of my reviews and my over 30 years without a bar complaint speak for themselves, so there is clearly no basis for this person's conclusion that I run a "shady" office. It is also clear that this person did not hire me, yet they have indicated above that I handled their immigration matter.

very knowledgeable and thorough lawyer

Fernando Perez and his staff helped steer me through what turned out to be a a complicated case. He managed to get myself and my family approved for visas in the EB1 EA category. Fernando let me know where we stood from the first consultation through to the completion of your case. He tells it like... it is and doesn't sugar coat the facts.

Not recommend for investment immigration.

I disconnect with Fernando because I am frustrated with our business. I guess he might be doing good in other immigration practice, but for my experience in investment immigration, I feel not that good. The first email I receive is a list of required document I need to prepare for the investment imm...igration. When we disconnect, Fernando charge me 500dollars/hour for the things he did for me. I saw the billing breakdown, for this list of required document, he literally typed himself for 1.5 hour. The list of required document is just a general list,if he is experienced, he doesn't have to type himself the email. He just need to copy and paste from the previous one he sent to his client. From the whole procedure we contact with each other, he kept saying I don't understand the requirement and never give me detailed instruction about how to collect the required documents. He never want to undertand my case and my background in order to give me realistic instructions. He just keep saying no to the documents I gave him. For the last several emails we mailed to each other, he said he will look at my document attached to the email and never replied back on the attachment. Finally, he charged me on looking at those attachment. I am not satisfied and say we should stop. He got angry after knowing I want to stop, saying he never have a client not satisfied with his service. I think he has such a high ego that he doesn't care his client anymore.

I know Fernando for a many years.. He has helped to reunited our family…

I know Fernando for a many years… He has helped to reunited our family… I know Fernando Perez as a trustworthy and as an attorney that you can depend on. First, he has helped me with my green card and a sitizenship process that was not an easy journey for me, I would say. And after all, Fernando ...has helped me out to get my husband back home after his deportation to Ukraine that happened because of mistakes that my husband made along his try outs to get everything done by himself. Usialy, troubles with immigration begin to happen when you do not ask for an advise from some one who knows exetly what to do and Fernando is the one whom you must ask. My husbands case became a real life lesson that you do need to get an attorney as early as it possible in order to avoid any legal complications that could bring you to the dead end. In our case my developing serious medical condition was the reason why my husband was aloud to come back home to US but you could avoid such risk of you being separated from your family. Most people who would read this review are the ones who are looking for an advice from a fellow in trouble and I would suggest you to work with Fernando he would not leave you helpless if there is a chance in your particular situation.

Lawyer Review

Attorney Perez is a well versed and genius in Immigration Law. He has an awesome method and strategy to approach and analyze a case, and an even superb approach to attack the case. Attorney Perez is ALWAYS proactive, rather than reactive; if he is reactive (c.q. waiting/passive approach), it is bec...ause it is part of the aggressive strategy to get me as his client the best path to the best desired results. Attorney Perez is always very ethical, very skilled and his years of experienced in the field is clear from the first 5 minutes you visit with him. One aspect of Attorney Perez's work that I always liked, and continue to respect today, is the fact that he will ALWAYS, repeat, ALWAYS be honest and tell you the truth, along with the probabilties of success, and indicative timeframes. This is helpful in making decisions along with counsel. But in 2006, in my opinion and based on personal knowledge, Attorney Perez attained the distinction of SUPER IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY. Attorney Perez took a case facing a dismal and disastrous condition under US immigration law, and took it to a desired, planned outcome; what was more impressive to me was the TIMEFRAME Attorney Perez obtained a satisfactory result, taking the cases all the way to the U.S. District Court. This particular case went from facing a 5% success rate to a 120% success rate because of strategic, aggressive and master lawyering; hence why ANY publication or review of Attorney Perez would earn him the title of Super Lawyer. Above ALL the Super lawyering, Attorney Perez has an ability to understand the client, very concerned, passionate and personable and has that human touch to a sometimes stressful case. I started using the services of Attorney Perez in 1997, and the consistency and skillful approach to Immigration Law has been excellent in my opinion (I am the benefactor and close participation - because of recommending Attorney Perez). Based on my personal experience and that of others that I have sent his way (over 5 cases minimum, with excellent outcomes), there is no better mind in American Jurisprudence in the area of Immigration Law, than Attorney Fernando Perez. Beyond ANY consideration, I will always want, and continue to have Attorney Perez as my lawyer.
