I have been unsatified when it comes to dealing with lawyers in the past. I did not expect much from Mr. Cohen when we first met. The truth is that I thought I wanted to hire someone else, but that would have been a very big mistake. I did listen to some very good advice and checked him out. You can ...write to the florida bar and request any information about any lawyer, so that is what i ended up doing and found one thing, a client that was very upset that Mr. Cohen got him released on probation. This client was bipolar and the complaint just made me think to check even more information to find that for over 6 months before he became my lawyer he had not lost one single case. When I asked him about this he just said, "when it comes to the law I know what i am doing". He was in my opinion very confident, he dose not like to loose and works very hard at succeeding. My case went from very bad (15 plus years), down to taking a deal for 5 to 7 years but for me it was not an option with a family to take care of, lets say jail time was not an option and he did give me his advice on what i should do, but I waited to the very end, and found my self with a 2 YEAR probation deal with no jail time and would be able to go on with my life with my family. That conpaired to being in jail for any period of time was way better. This was more than what anyone could have asked for, freedom with some set backs. The over all picture is that I still have my loving family.
