Best Legal Representation For DUI's in South Florida

I was faced with an unjust DUI in S Florida and took on the services of Steve Bell to represent me in this case. I was never faced with a such a serious situation before and not knowing what I was up against. Steve's professionalism, confidence and knowledge put me at ease and knowing I was in good ...hands. . As I went thru this ordeal, Steve was on top of everything and brought this to closure quite quickly. If your looking for the best lawyer for DUI's , no need to look any further. He has also helped me find a lawyer in another state for a friend who had a similar situation. He is always looking to help. Not only is he the best in DUI's cases, he has done an excellent job in traffic ticket cases for several people I know. So if your faced with any of these situations , I highly recommend Steve Bell.

DUI Crash reduced to Reckless Driving

I was double over the legal limit of alcohol and crashed my car into a tree. Yet somehow Steven Bell managed to get the dui charge down to a reckless driving charge, and I had NO license suspension at all. I have had couple dui incidents in the past and he still produced a great outcome for me. No li...cense suspension and no jail time. Very impressive.

Meltzer And Bell are more for minor cases. They will take a large retainer from you and state they are trial lawyers. This firm will tell you to take a plea deal and not work your case. I decided to hire another attorney for my criminal case and that was the best decision. Why, because I received the... best outcome from my new Counsel which was "charges dropped". Glad I terminated their services

PLEASE DO NOT HIRE MR. BELL. I REGRET MY CHOICE VERY MUCH, HE KEPT ALL MY MONEY 8500.00 AFTER REQUESTING CASH ONLY. I HAD NEVER BEEN ARRESTED BEFORE AND I AM A DISABLED WOMAN SUFFERING A PAINFUL SKIN CONDITION FOR WHICH THERE IS NO CURE I CAN ONLY TAKE MEDICINES TO HELP IT TO BE UNDER CONTROL.... I BELIEVE IT WAS CLEAR MY ARREST WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING AND MR BELL WAS GIVEN UNDENIABLE PROOF AS HOURS OF AUDIO. MY INITIAL MEETING WITH MR BELL WAS WHEN THE ENTIRE OFFICE WAS ABSENT MR. BELL ONLY FILED ONE DOCUMENT, ONE PIECE OF PAPER WITH ONE PARAGRAPH AND MADE A PHONE APPEARANCE I THINK? I NEVER RECEIVED RECORD OF THE HEARING IN ANY MANNER I ASKED IN WRITING. THE FIRM WILL NOT GIVE A PAPER BILL OR ANY BILL FOR HOURLY CHARGES WITH MY NAME ON IT OR A BILL IN GENERAL. MR BELL REFUSED TO USE MY MONEY TO EXPUNGE THE RECORD OF MY ARREST HE HAS NOT SUBMITTED ANY DOCUMENTS TO THE PUBLIC RECORD I RECEIVED ONLY AN ORDER VIA EMAIL WHICH STATES NOT ORIGINAL. I NEVER SPOKE TO MR. BELL AFTER OUR INITIAL CONSULTATION HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL OR ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS I SAW HIM ONLY ONCE WHEN HE WAS PAID THE FULL, CASH FOR THE RETAINER AS HE REQUESTED. MR BELL PROMISED WHEN I WAS PAYING IF THE CASE WAS QUICKLY RESOLVED A REFUND OF THE BALANCE WOULD BE GIVEN, IT WAS MY TRUST SAVINGS AND THE CASE WAS QUICKLY RESOLVED. I REGRET MY CHOICE IN HIRING MR BELL VERY MUCH. I HOPE THIS HELPS OTHERS MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE. PLEASE MR BELL REFUND AS YOU PROMISED AND SEND A BILL I AM STILL WAITING IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR.

In order to make sure I answer this clearly, i will get right to the point. I was retained on a very serious charge here. My client signed a retainer to do all I could on a serious accusation. I maintained contact with this client at all times, and zealously advocated for the client. It was only because of me that the charges were no filed. I had a very lengthy phone conference with the filing lawyer in the matter to discuss the legal and factual issues that should result in the matter being abandoned (after having done weeks of work to be prepared for this meeting). Had I not done what I did, the charges would have been filed and my client would have been facing prison time and years of litigation. I am saddened by any negativity towards my reputation and hard work. I made this matter go away for my client. The goal always is to quickly convince a State Attorney they should not proceed with prosecution. I can't imagine one would complain that a doctor cured their cancer too quickly? Again, this review saddens me, but I stand by my zealous and aggressive representation of this client and all of them as we here at Meltzer & Bell, P.A. treat everyone like family.

Buyer beware

I wish I had used the Traffic Ticket Team. They got my ticket dismissed and no fine. This lawyer will get it dismissed but you will still pay big money$$$. Plan on paying the fine plus court fees with these lawyers. Not sure who is sleeping with who here.
