SUPER LAWYERS ARE NOT ALWAYS SUPER PEOPLE
I am legally blind and hired Arthur Schofield to handle a matter of Disability Discrimination. I could not have made a worse choice. Rather than treating me with the dignity and compassion that I deserved, Schofield treated me in an arrogant, demeaning condescending manner. I was also very disappoint...
Dear Mr. or Ms. Blind Senior, my office has one of highest reviews on AVVO and I have been the recipient of being selected as a Super Lawyer for the last 10 consecutive years. Were we to treat any client as you described, neither of these accolades would have been awarded. Whoever you may be, these are complete falsehoods about me and/or my office.

He's an idiot. I don't reccomened him to anyone -_-
He's a simple minded idiot. I don't reccomened him to anyone -_- had a serious issue with an infestation in my apartment that landlords weren't helping me with & this idiot just reccomended me to get 'roach traps'... as if i hadn't tried that? He shouldn't be allowed to help anyone because he clearly...
My apology in giving you simple-minded practical advice to take actions that you yourself thought were sound. I was not aware you had already tried the traps as you did not include that in your post. I do wish you all the best with all of your issues.

I wish zero stars was an option
Extremely disappointed overall and the office and communication style- billing practices extremely unorthodox
Our billing practices are straight forward. They relationship can range from flat fee work, contingency work and hourly work. For hourly work our rate is provided to the client, in writing, and bills are sent out for work performed on a monthly basis. In some instances, a client may not appreciate the legal work that becomes necessary to reach a resolution. In rare occasions, the expectations of a client simply are not realistic or something that can be accomplished given the confines and restriction of the law.

too careful...
I consulted him on my case. Too conservative. I hired someone else who fought for me and got fantastic results.
Glad to hear that you obtained the results you were looking for. We strive to tailor an approach that fits the client. If you were looking for a conservative approach, we would have present you with one, but as any of our litigation clients can attest, if you are looking for full-blown assertive litigation we will provide that as well.

It is unfortunate that we cannot satisfy the needs of all clients, but sometimes those needs or wants are simply unobtainable. It can be hard at times to explain to those that have been harmed that the law has boundaries and cannot remedy all the wrongs.
