If you have ever been in an auto accident, you know how completely overwhelming it is. This is on top of the pain you are most likely contending with. My auto accident happened on the way to celebrate my 40th birthday, which at the time I thought was enough to deal with on its own, boy was I in for... a treat. Thank God all parties involved were going to be ok. The car: not so much. I knew from experience neck and back pain would gradually worsen with time, but that was all I felt knowledgeable about. I work in the insurance and finance industry, but this was a completely different world.
