I couldn't be happier with the results I received from having Attorney Richard Hornsby represent me. I was a high profile case, with serious charges; 1st Degree Arson being one of them. My family and I contacted Mr. Hornsby after my original attorney of one year had been suspended. With my case being... an older one (2017) we were now approaching 2019, and we were being pushed to wrap things up. In the amount of time Richard had to defend my case, he worked wonders. More had been done in the six months or so that he had taken over, practically starting from scratch, than the whole previous year. In the end, I was sentenced to 366 days DOC, serving just over a month in prison with credit from county jail, and released on supervision which included Community Control (2 yrs) followed by Probation (5 yrs) both with early termination. In my eyes, as well as my family's, this was the greatest outcome we could have hoped for, seeing that I was facing 4 to 30 years in prison. God forbid I ever need a defense attorney again, I wouldn't think twice about calling Attorney Hornsby, he's great at what he does, very honest and upfront - never sugarcoating any aspect of your case, which I appreciate more than anything.

I am going through a process to get a license and to do so I have to pull up my old criminal record from 17 years ago. I remember what was on there from so long ago but, what I received back was entirely different. In fact it was way worse. I originally was charged with one felony that was dropped bu...t the documents I received back stated as if I had three felonies. I contact Mr. Hornsby regarding my situation. I told him my situation, he asked for my name and told me he'd get back to me via email. I had been crying all weekend before hand since I found this out Friday afternoon so I was ready to pay what ever I had to to fix these errors because this is my whole life at stake. Mr. Hornsby didn't ask for any payment what so ever and he proceeded to take the time out of his very busy day to review my records from his database and as well as FDLE's database and continued to email me several times to explain to me what happened and to clarify what it meant, and how I could handle the situation. All with out wanting to lock me in on a price for his expert services.
