My Ex filled a modification to get Custody of our son, I was extremely terrified and worried about the case, mainly because he filled in another county and the lawyer he had had tremendously great reviews. I just want to express my sincerest gratitude towards Angela Hatley and her excellent staff! I can't say enough about them. I'm a single father who had his kids taken from about a month ago due to serious allegations which involved: -potential criminal child abuse charges -restraining order -two of m...y family members testifying against me -Court continued 3 weeks in a row (During which I was never able to address the allegations once) -DSS worker who stated on the stand, "High concerns" with my children living with me, that she recommended I should "undergo anger management classes before I was allowed unsupervised visitation." During those three weeks of continued heartbreak I was so anxious to plead my case I actually stood up before the judge without being called on and was almost held into contempt. I'm so thankful for Mrs. Hatley's diligence for calming me down and reiterating the importance for me to control my emotions. Despite my constant worrying, I truly felt that Mrs Hatley shared my grief with me, and took my case personal and to her own heart. I have had three attorney's in Cumberland county since 2013. WITH one of my attorneys dropping me just two weeks before my trial. I wish I would have know about Ms. Hatley and I know I would have done do much better than 1 dollars of alimony of per month after 23 years of marriage. Ms Hatley is THE attorney to retain if you want to win your case. She is very thorough, caring and patient. She took her time to completely explain every step of each process of my custody suit with me. I was attempting to obtain custody of my 10 year old granddaughter and it took 357 days , but Ms H...atley did it ! Not once did we not have My granddaughter with us through the whole ordeal.
