Mr. Huynh's office paralegal is great! Prompt, kind, informative. When hiring Mr. Huynh he was light on advice, information and assurances. When I had questions (via email) the responses were often incomplete and required follow-up. He had no interest in engaging in get-to-know-you small talk that ma...y have made the process more comfortable. When he laid out his expectations for the case resolution I felt like he was just saying "trust me this is what will happen" rather than an giving me explanation of how the whole process works, which is what I really wanted. A second lawyer contacted me from this site after I had already retained Mr. Huynh and he was more forthcoming and clear with advice before money had exchanged hands than my lawyer was. He offered the same advice that I had been given, so I knew my legal counsel was accurate but they also offered identical services for $100 less. Had I not already paid the first lawyer that responded to me, I would not have hired Mr. Huynh. In the end, he is likely a competent lawyer, but he didn't hold my hand through the process, which is what I needed given my lack of experience in the matters at hand. Be prepared to ask more than once for clarification but I don't doubt that Mr. Huynh understands the law and he delivered what he promised.

I am submitting the complaint on behalf of my husband. My husband contacted Mr.Huynhs office to get assistance on a speeding ticket in a school zone. Mr. Huynh informed him the he could have the ticket lowered and he would not need to appear in court. So my husband paid him $100 and hired him for ser...vice. When the court date came my husband received a at work that he was suppose to appear in court. He was unable to leave his job and come to the courthouse to the case was continued. When the second court date came ,my husband went with our son and was met by a different lawyer. This lawyer had them wait in the court room ,while he spoke with the district attorney. The gentleman came back and said the case was continued again because the district attorney would not budge. At the next court date the same thing happened again. Finally my husband was met with yet another lawyer who promised him he was going to get the ticket lowered to improper moving violation and he would not need to come to court. This lawyer followed through and had the ticket lowered to improper moving violation. As we reviewed the final ticket and violations, we noticed an additional charge for not paying the ticket after the trial. We were just confused by this whole process. We were confused about the mishap over coming to court and never seeing the judge or the same lawyer. Also the most disrespectful event is when my husband saw notes from Mr. Huynh states " this client is rather annoying" That note was hurtful and unnecessary. It felt as making sure everything is going well was problem.
