Devastated

I feel like the firm is too expanded. I’m sure they know what they’re doing, but I feel like I kinda fell through the cracks. I had several different caseworkers, two different lawyers. I only met with them once before my hearing. Needless to say I was denied SSDI. I’m not blaming it all on them, my ...case was difficult because I have Fibromyalgia. I feel like though, if there was more one on one time with better communication it would benefit so much. I filed in 2012 and continued through 2018, with one denial after another. I now am told I can no longer apply for benefits.” We don’t take no for an answer” was not the case for me.

No communication

I hired this firm for Social Security Disability and the communication is poor if any. No two people give you the same information. When I asked what are you doing to help me they said "well we check your status for you"- I can do that on my own. I have never received any documents or emails from t...his firm. I had to practically beg for help. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.

Sounds too good, generally is first red flag.

They represented me, first I did all the work, secondly I went through a few people to speak with, before I could communicate clearly with a respectful individual there. No returned phone calls, or emails, I finally landed a very nice person and I'm so sorry to forget her name, but she was a very pro...fessional empathetic person, unlike Jan Dill's who when I did finally get to speak to her, I had to remind her on several occasions I was ill, and the way she spoke to me over the phone was very disappointing, I have an unusual case which is hard to manage, so I'll give them that, but as far as being the fluff, and perfection you see online was not the case for me, or my experience as a client, most of the hard work was completed by me, so they just had to keep InTouch, and update me, which they do not do. Lawyers are very busy, I get that, this is why you need a very good team to deal with the client, I went to law school, so I have a better understanding then most of the process, I just feel as though the care, respect, and work ethic was not present for me in my opinion. This was a very disappointing experience for me.

No representation

I had Jan Dills lawyer firm as my attorney and let me tell you if you want a lawyer that does not work. Then this is the lawyer for you. I had at least three different people who started the case and passed it off on someone else’s. I had to do all the work. They only contacted me twice before the he...aring and once after. You could never get it contact with anyone over the phone. I knew the result of the hearing before the lawyer. I contacted them by email to notify them of the results and still have not been contacted back. So if you want terrible representation this is definitely the law firm to have. PS still waiting on that call back Jan Dills attorney at law.

Worst experience.

Hired Jan Dils but never saw her once. Dealt with another attorney in her practice whom wouldn't return my calls or emails. She was never available to answer any questions. Barely spoke to me before my hearing just walked in the hearing with me and sat speechless the entire time. Of course I didn't ...win due to poor representation. She blamed it on the judge being fairly new. I've since spoken to other lawyers who cannot figure out why I did not get compensation considering I'm "the perfect candidate." I've been suffering from several debilitating illnesses and chronic pain for 20 years yet here I am with no help.
