When our names were called he presented the case to the judge very reasonably and transparently, even to the point where the officer agreed with his assessment entirely. The judge responded well and in return my case was dismissed outright. I only had to pay the court fees, a dollar amount significantly lower than that I would've had to pay if I was convicted.
