Extremely professional.

Spoke with Mr. Mcgrath for the first time yesterday. Have full confidence that he will represent a family member well. Extremely knowledgeable. Fit our family member into an already very busy schedule. Clearly, he has concern for his clients. Highly recommend.

Experience wins everytime

I had a series of legal challenges that if not resolved in my favor would assure that my freedom would be impaired. That is a fancy way of saying that Mr. Joe McGrath kept me from going to jail. Mr McGrath's knowledge of the law, lawyers in the community as well as State Attorneys and Judges was a...bsolutely INVALUABLE. Sometimes it is not what you know but who you know... Well Mr. McGrath KNOWS IT ALL! If choosing between Mr. McGrath and some attorney only 10 years out of law school, I WOULD CHOOSE MR. MCGRATH EVERYTIME! GREAT JOB JOE!! THANKS!! J. Mack

Highly Recommend

Having to go to court is a stressful experience. Joe McGrath took much of the anxiety out of said situation. He was kind, considerate and patient with a nervous client. He took time to explain what was happening and what to expect. He stayed in contact prior to my day in court and was responsive in ...a timely manner when I would call with inquires. Even after the judgment went down and he was free to leave me to my own devices, he continued to represent my interests and was able to mitigate my sentence post ruling. I thoroughly and unhesitatingly recommend him if one is in need of legal counsel.

THOROUGH AND UNDERSTANDING

Having to appear in court before a Judge is an intimidating experience. You need someone to represent you who knows the process. Someone who thoroughly researches and prepares your case for all possible outcomes. Joe McGrath is that type of lawyer. We have used Joe many times over the last several ye...ars for minor infractions, all with a positive outcome. Most recently he represented us on some serious charges in two different jurisdictions. He was zealous in his pursuit of getting the facts of the case straight. He repeatedly tried to call the district attorney in one of the cases for over a month, and the DA would not return his call. He finally got in his car and drove an hour to the DA’s office so he could provide his side of the case. He provided additional information to the DA and letters of reference on behalf of his client and was able to get the felony charge reduced to a misdemeanor. We were very thankful for his compassion, dedication and perseverance to our case. Joe also recommended counseling which we would have not sought on our own. The counseling has changed my son’s life. This would not have been possible without Joe. Joe McGrath believes everyone should have equal footing in the courtroom and be heard. He will stand up for you and not back down in what he believes is the truth. I would highly recommend Joe McGrath, because he cares about you and your individual circumstances.

Go Joe Go

Joe is an extremely effective litigator. I compare him to a mix between Matlock and Perry Mason. I had a case in Amelia County traffic court for speeding and a DWI. Joe was able to get the DWI charges dismissed and thus enable me to continue working at my current position. I would recommend Joe’s ex...perience and expertise over most if not all lawyers in the Richmond and surrounding areas.
