I was facing a first-time DUI charge in VA with a BAC of > .15, which, if convicted, meant I would serve mandatory five-day jail time. As someone who’d previously never even had so much as a speeding ticket, I was frightened out of my mind. In the end, he obtained a “not guilty” verdict from the judge after shredding the arresting officer’s testimony (the officer’s testimony differed significantly from his police report of the incident) and getting the BAC test results excluded from the evidence.
