This man is magic and he knows every obscure in and out of the legal system. I was a complete wreck after my abusive encounter with law enforcement. He was patient, compassionate, and firm in his counsel. Legally I believed I was trapped, doomed to be branded a deviant for non-violent behavior in whi...ch my future job and housing opportunities would be severely limited. Hire him if you want a savvy lawyer who is willing to fight to the end for you. Someone who is up front and works hard to get you the best outcome possible. Jon made a horrible process easier to handle. I came to him with a DWI charge and he instantly made me feel like he was ready to fight for me. H...e is not only concerned with winning your case, he genuinely cares about you. In the beginning he went to court and got me off probation for the time period before my trial. When it looked like all hope was lost he negotiated a plea deal which kept me from serving jail time. He fought for me all the way. Arlington county is one of the toughest counties for DUI/DWI cases and somehow he managed a plea deal. He is great at what he does and I highly recommend him. My family and I were devastated when I made the mistake of getting a DWI but upon meeting him he eased our fears and the day in court we all were able to breathe a sigh of relief thanks to him. Jon successfully negociated a plea deal for me that, not only kept my charge from escalating to a felony, resolved to be a misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. I was in possession of a small amount of hash oil in VA, a felony, and my finallized plea has me on supervised probation until I complete... a 12 week substance abuse course, of my choosing, after which I am unsupervised. Jon is the only lawyer I trust when my future is on the line.

I never write review for anyone before, but I will do it this time for Katz and for those of you who needed help from a "real lawyer". I will be absolutely honest about my case and Katz. I had two previous charges of misdemeanor in 2010 and was place in removal proceeding because I'm not a US citizen... (I fought my case back w/ an immigration lawyer and won my case), I cannot have any more Misdemeanor nor Felony. In 2015 I was charge with a Felony (Grand Larceny, I was with someone and they charged me as well), I was recommended to Katz by my immigration lawyer. Katz is not cheap (but he will worth every penny you spend). I came to Katz's office June 2015, HOPELESS about my case. I know for 90% I will be deported if I face any charges even a misdemeanor theft. All the other lawyers I've been to make a lot of promised. I've dealt w/ manny lawyers before and none of them act like Katz. He asked me to do homework (theft class & community service hours). Mean while he obtain the evidence in fighting my case. Jon proved to be a superb Attorney and outstanding person who genuinely cares about the best outcome for his clients. He proved this to me after I was cited in Maryland for DUI, DWI, using a hand held telephone and Negligent Driving. After reading an over exaggerated police report, I felt like I wa...s dead meat. While, then I met Jon and he gave me hope that he could back. He did everything he could possibly do to mitigate the serious nature of these charges.
