Outstanding Criminal Defense Lawyer
When I was convicted of a DWI. I was recommended to hire Jon Katz as my lawyer from a family member. His knowledge of the criminal defense is unbelievable. When I was convicted he gave me a step by step program of different tasks that helped my case. My trial was dropped to reckless driving all becau...
Dear Peter- Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of working as a team with me. Of course, the context of your posting shows that you were prosecuted of DWI, with the charge being reduced to reckless driving. As to knowledge of criminal defense, the defense-persuasive arguments can be numerous at trial. When sharing some of those arguments pre-trial with the prosecutor, sometimes that leads to a favorable case settlement. I regularly review developments in statutory law and caselaw, and leave no stone unturned in finding the path to the best possible results for my clients. Thank you for the honor of defending you.

Excellent Attorney
Jon Katz is as good as it gets if you are seeking a Fairfax, Virginia Criminal or DWI attorney. I have watched him in trial and have referred him clients, he is truly an outstanding attorney.
Dear Steve- Your words mean a lot to me. I know I am on the side of the angels in defending my clients. A relative recently asked how I can say that if my client has in fact committed a heinous act. I responded that committing a heinous act is not angelic, but the work we criminal defense lawyers do for all accused people is on the side of the angels for standing up for them as the humans they are, while defending the Bill of Rights. And when I obtain acquittals for people I think probably committed the charged offense, I underline that the prosecution is the only person with the burden to seek a conviction. Thank you again.

Fairfax DWI/DUI Lawyer
Honestly, one of the best decisions I've made after making the worst decision of my life. Jon is knowledgeable of the laws and procedures pertaining to DWI/DUI cases and will fight your case to the end. He advises of the best options for you and provides you all possible outcomes. He's very swift on ...
Winning your DUI case was a rush beyond rushes, which comes after substantial trial preparation. Most importantly is the justice we obtained for you. So many judges and jurors have adverse preconceived notions about people driving with alcohol in their systems. It is my job to change that narrative to the fact that having alcohol in one's bloodstream, by itself, does not impair our driving nor endanger others, that we need to look at the totality of the circumstances, and that it is the prosecutor's burden alone to attempt to establish proof beyond a reasonable doubt, when all criminal defendants are presumed innocent. When you mentioned that I "will fight your case to the end," I am reminded of Popeye's refrain "I fights to the finish, cause I eats my spinach." I certainly eat a lot of spinach, usually daily. I am delighted that this burden is off your shoulders! Thanks again for the honor of defending you. Jon Katz
