Attorney Green was wonderful

Attorney Green was wonderful. He was extremely reassuring but also very honest with me about my case. He got my DUI, 1st offense down to a Reckless Driving. I would recommend Mr. Green to anyone I know. I found Mr. Green and all the people at his firm completely professional and well worth the reaso...nable fees. He worked hard to get the plea agreement to something that would work for me, I could tell that was important to him. He took his time with me and did not push me to accept something I was not happy with. I could tell he is very well respected in court by his peers and Judges. If I ever need a lawyer again, hopefully not for a DUI, I will use Mr. Green and his firm, there would be no other choice.

EXTREMELY ELATED!!

Mr. Garrett Green was recommended to me by a trusted colleague, upon overhearing my rant(s) about a ticket I had received while en route to work. My colleague spoke very highly of him, both personally and professionally. I quickly submitted a summary of my issue to the site of Nichols & Green as I ...was in quite a conundrum (from a VA demerit points-perspective, I had 16 demerit points accrued [HOV & speeding violation accruals], and an “Improper Turn” incident queued up). I was beyond impressed with the response/turnaround received from the firm, and Mr. Garrett Green. After discussing my situation with Mr. Garrett Green, I was equally impressed with his strategic-skills and obvious experience; and I immediately proceeded to employ him as my representative. Verdict: My case was dismissed/charge was dropped – and I am super-elated!! Summary: While I was not facing the potential of a suspended license or jail-time, I recognized how negatively my existing demerit balance could be misinterpreted by the Judge a/o Police Officer. I made the mistake in the past of NOT seeking council…and that’s what brought me to my 16 demerit point conundrum. This time, I'm glad I did!! Recommendation: As a military veteran, I appreciate the honesty, integrity and dedication that this firm and Mr. Garrett Green offered. Whilst an optimal outcome is never guaranteed in the courtroom, I vastly appreciate the communication, honesty, integrity and strategy of this firm and will be using them for my forthcoming case.

Highly recommended

Attorney Green responded to my initial request in a timely fashion. He took the time during our telephone conversation to thoroughly explain the process and also to discuss in detail my specific situation and what options were available to me. He was very professional. He clearly explained what I ...would need to do to follow through on my case and left it open for me to decide and respond back to him. Once I had decided and returned the signed agreement, his office staff were also professional, courteous and helpful in providing additional information and assistance. He made a very stressful situation much easier and did a great job resolving my case.

Excellent Case Outcome!

At my initial consult, Mr Green was friendly and professional, and answered all of my questions. He made sure I understood the Fairfax County traffic court process, and gave me all the information I needed to decide whether to retain his firm. I hired him on the spot, and have been pleased with tha...t decision ever since. He met with me at the courthouse on the morning of my case, and immediately put me at ease over how the morning would unfold. After negotiating the prosecutor down from 71MPH in a 50MPH zone to Failure to Obey A Highway Sign, we stepped into the courtroom for a few minutes, spoke with the judge, and the case was completed. Mr Green's extensive knowledge, personal credibility with court personnel, and approachable demeanor were critical to ensuring that I received fair hearing in a court system stacked against traffic defendants. I'll do my best to slow it down on the road, but should I find myself in traffic court again, I will immediately retain Mr Green to defend me.

Two charges, one dropped

My case was complicated, involving an accident and a DWI, and the very real possibility that I would be serving active jail time as a result of this. Of all the lawyers I interviewed, Mr. Green was the most experienced, knowledgeable and approachable. He was able to answer all my questions and expl...ain the entire legal process involved in his approach to the case. While the outcome was not the most favorable, I was very relieved that he negotiated to have the charge linked to the accident dropped, so that all jail time was suspended. I was also granted a restricted driver's license rather than a full suspension of my driving privileges. Overall, I am grateful to Mr. Green and satisfied with the results. The only thing I wish had been handled differently was to have my case continued to a date before the new law requiring first time DUI/DWI offenders to have an ignition interlock device installed in their vehicles. Still, Mr. Green at least fought to have this taken out. Hopefully, this experience will aid him in developing a solid argument to actually have this requirement removed for his future clients.
