Highly recommended

Garrett was extremely helpful and understanding. I never had to get an attorney for anything before, and he took time and explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. He was able to get my criminal misdemeanor reckless driving charge dropped to $100 traffic infraction and I didn't eve...n have to miss any work to come to court. It was as stress free an experience as possible and he kept me informed the whole time.

Speeding Early in the Morning

I was caught speeding at 92 in a 55 at about 4 AM as I was rushing to visit a dying a relative. As a young, just out of college graduate who was out of state, I really didn't know a lot about the speeding process and how best to obtain a lawyer. After numerous calls, I chose Nicholls and Green due ...to the breadth of my initial case review with them and the amazing lengths they went to to work with me as a client. My charge was eventually reduced to 89 in a 55 for speeding, and I can safely say that's a wonderful outcome. I was only culpable for 250 dollars n fines and additional court costs, and I have Mr. Green to thank. Both Mr. Nicholls and Mr. Green were involved with my case, making sure to notify me of last minute changes due to inclement weather or other court issues both via email or phone calls when i was free, and making sure I had the right guidance in the matter. I was impressed with Mr. Green's ability especially to succinctly describe all requisite actions I needed to do to prepare for my case, as well as to coach me throughout the process as to what next best actions a person in my situation would need to do. His courtroom savvy the day of my hearing and his deft negotiating allowed me to retain a successful position at my current work and continue doing my charity work and outreach, something Mr. Green and I both share. Would strongly recommend Mr. Green again and again for anyone looking for a great traffic lawyer!

Acomplished what I wanted

Was cited for 81/55 reckless (a criminal charge), in addition to expired registration and expired inspection in Fairfax Co. Mr. Green was able to negotiate a plea deal bringing the reckless down to 74/55 speeding (not a criminal charge), and getting the two other citations dropped entirely. In my o...pinion, this was an excellent outcome. I do not have a criminal record, and I really didn't want that to change. Thanks to Mr. Green, it hasn't. Mr. Green was not only effective, but he and his staff were great prior to my day in court. During my free consultation he didn't rush me, and took the time to really listen. He even took the time to talk to me on the phone the day before court, just to review strategy and likely outcomes. Further, his office staff was extremely courteous and responsive. Mr. Green gave me an honest assessment of my chances of success right up front, and was above-board for the entire process. His fee was entirely reasonable. I have never needed a defense lawyer before, so the process of hiring one was a bit unnerving. God forbid I ever face a situation like this in the future, I'd hire Mr. Green again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Insightful, Helpful & Worth the Time & Money

I received a booklet in the mail along with a slew of other material concerning a charge that I knew I was innocent of and planning to appear in court for by myself. When I looked at the material, time, and date it was set for; I decided to hire an attorney that could appear and speak on my behalf an...d mostly was knowledgeable in this area. Among the material, Nichols & Greene seemed to be the most knowledgeable by providing a booklet which described many criminal charges, what they meant, and how they could help. I setup my consultation, spoke with Mr, Greene, and he helped me understand that I had become a part of the on-going bullying and racial profiling that sometimes happens by being in certain areas and stores. Their price is a little steep but not too outrageous & flexible with payments. He quickly let me know his thoughts on the outcomes of my case, the information that he would need me to send him and how he was going to present it to the judge. On the day of court, I appeared and watched other cases so I could get a perspective to this process I've never seen before and can appear slanted or against persons of "different color/race" Mr Greene quickly got my case dismissed and provided much insight on his steps through the process. Dont waste your time with other lawyers making empty promises to you and your outcomes, this firm is more than knowledgeable, has great customer service, trustworthy and reliable.

Top notch - Mr. Green was a lifesaver...TWICE!

We found Mr. Green through the brochure received in the mail after receiving a reckless driving ticket while on my motorcycle. Based on the speed on a main road in Fairfax City and some previous history of speeding tickets, we knew it was very possible to be facing jail time, huge points, high fines..., loss of license, etc. After speaking with Mr. Green the first time, I knew he was the best fit for our case. He was patient, responsive, knowledgeable about the process and risks, forthcoming with information I had not thought of previously, and put us at ease. He helped us determine the best strategy and made recommendations based on his expertise. I was able to avoid jail time, paid a fine, and had a suspended license for 30 days. These were options I could live with and am extremely grateful for Mr. Green and his office staff's dedication to my case. In the midst of the first reckless driving case, I was again pulled over on my motorcyle on 495. This time, I was definitely NOT speeding. As I was merging into traffic, the police officer raced up to me, pulled me over, and said I was doing upwards of 70 mph. However, on the ticket, he wrote that I was doing 80 mph in a 55 mph zone. This information was based on his pace to catch up to me, not by radar. Due to the history and the severity of having 2 cases almost back to back, we turned to Mr. Green again. He was able to go to court on my behalf so I was able to waive my appearance and not take another day off of work. He worked with the prosecutor and the case was dismissed (Nolle prosequi). I received an email approximately 2-3 hours after the scheduled case time with this information. Thank goodness for Mr. Green and his staff. We are so happy he was able to help us through two very difficult situations. We would gladly recommend him to anyone facing similar charges.
