THANK YOU!!!!

This review has been long due, but even now I am struggling to find the words that would equal the gratitude that I feel towards this man!! I wish I could hang my review on the walls of the Fairfax County Courthouse so everyone could see it and go knocking on his door. Mr. Carlos Wall might as well c...hanged our whole lives and our futures forever, by pulling a MIRACLE for my boyfriend and his particular case!! We had zero to extremely minimal chance of succeeding, but we did!! We got the best imaginable outcome out of a very sad and hopeless situation. I will forever be grateful to this man for what he did for us. Carlos Wall is THE master of his trade!! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he is tremendously WISE! He is sharp, and eloquent. He owned the courtroom on sentencing day, I will never forget the moment when the judge told him "Mr. Walls, you have convinced me!", and we were dealing with one of the strictest judges known in this judicial system. I am lucky I stumbled upon his profile when I was searching for attorneys, and I'm so glad we picked him to represent our case because here we are today, on the other side, victorious. And believe me when I say this case was no joke! He is an exceptionally skilled attorney!! Thank you Mr. Walls!! Our family is humbly grateful to you!!

Best Defense Attorney on the East Coast

I was charged with three criminal offenses that could of landed me in jail for a while, and a subsequent traffic offense related to the first three. My charges were possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute meth amphetamine, and contributing to the delin...quency of a minor. I first met Mr.Wall while incarcerated at Fairfax County Jail. I was taken back by his young appearance and age but even more so in his knowledge of the legal system and his credentials. It was clear to me really quickly that when it came to defense attorneys(ive dealt with quite a few in the past) he was the cream of the crop. My legal battle lasted for over a year and I've been to court over the same charges over 5-6 times. The first time we went to court it was regarding the contribution charge. I was more then pleased when Mr.Wall managed to get the charge dismissed the first time we went in. The other two weren't so easy but throughout the whole ordeal he kept reassuring me that he would get me the best outcome and that everything would be ok in the end. I will admit i was very skeptical because i felt the prosecution had more then enough to go on to convict me. To make a long story short, after numerous trips to the court and back, i was given a plea deal for possession of paraphernalia and one of the charges dropped, along with the traffic infraction as well. I couldn't believe it because that deal carried no jail time, probation time, or loss of license but a simple $250 fine. He fought hard for me from the beginning and his constant reassurances put my mind at ease every time we were in court. Its safe to say Mr.Wall saved my life. I would highly recommend him to anyone at all, no matter what charges they are facing. Thank you sir for you hard work and dedication to getting me the best deal possible.

Confident and competent

Carlos represented me at a reckless driving case recently and I couldn't be more pleased with his service. Among the 6 lawyers I consulted, he was the only one that offered, with reasonable confidence, to aim to reduce the charge to failure to pay full time and attention, which is the most lenient ou...tcome that carries no point and no record, in contrast with the 6 point, 7-year record offense that'd come with reckless driving. And that's exactly what he delivered. All other lawyers I consulted either shied away from even mentioning the possibility for the most lenient ruling or thought that'd not be probable, and instead would shoot for a 3-point/3 year record verdict of improper driving. The latter would be similar to an outcome I'd likely have been able to attain had I represented myself in court, given the nature of the incident. I'm impressed by Carlo's confidence and integrity in trying his best and looking out for the client's best interest. I'll be recommending Carlos to anyone I know looking for legal representation.

Incredible lawyer. Highly Recommend!!!

I was charged with possession of marijuana (first time offense) last year. My goal was to avoid the 251 program and to hopefully get the charge dropped. There was video evidence which didn’t really work in my favor but I still had high hopes because I was wrongly accused. The final outcome was accept...ing a plea bargain for possession of paraphernalia. It was the best deal possible at the time considering that the prosecutors and officer were obstinate and difficult to work with. Luck was not on my side. Overall, I was not happy with the result because this amendment didn’t allow for expungement. I did not want this charge on my record as it could affect future employment. I was devastated and thought that this was it. I made a couple of phone calls and ended up speaking with Carlos who gave me detailed instructions on how to appeal my case. After appealing my case, I contacted countless lawyers based on reviews and experience to handle my case. Keep in mind that not all lawyers handle appeal cases and if they do, they are expensive. I had Carlos in mind but I wanted to do my homework before making a decision. With this appeal case, I only had one shot so I had to pick very wisely. I even met with the “best” (according to AVVO) but they were ridiculously priced. With only one week away from my motions hearing date I finally met with Carlos - the man who originally gave me guidance on how to appeal my case. He was accommodating and kind enough to meet with me right before office closing time because I was coming from a town 2 hours away. The office is conveniently located by the courthouse with ample parking space. The secretary is very nice and very quick with emails. Carlos is laid back, honest, self-assured and very knowledgeable. He thoroughly reviewed the video clip with me and took detailed notes. I had a good feeling about this man. He recommended that we go for a bench trial and assured that he would do the best he can to help me. His price was also very reasonable considering what other lawyers were charging for appeal cases. I really wanted this charge to be dropped/dismissed (seemed near impossible based on the impression I got from other lawyers) and made so that it could be expunged from my record. Guess what? This man made it happen. We went to circuit court two times. First time was to set a trial date which took 5 minutes in the courtroom. A week before the trial date, he called me and told me that my case was dismissed (Nolle prosequi)! I couldn’t believe it! I don’t know what kind of magic he performed but he made my wish come true. On the day of the trial, we were in and out of the courtroom in a matter of 10 minutes. The circuit court was like second nature to him. This man knows his stuff and I highly recommend him. I hired him again to expunge the dismissed charge for me. Thank you Carlos for getting me the best possible outcome and making this a fast and painless experience for me! Note: My advice to people here is to not overlook lawyers that don’t have a lot of reviews. What matters is quality over quantity. Meet with them and give them a chance.

Speeding Traffic Ticket - 65/45

I would definitely recommend Carlos Wall and the Gordon Law Firm if you have to go to the Fairfax Traffic court. I was pulled over in November of 2015 for driving 65 m/h in a 45 m/h zone. The cop who pulled me over told me that she was going to charge me for only speeding (not for reckless driving). ...She told me that I would not need a lawyer and I’d better off just to pay the fine. I was not sure if this was a good idea because I still would get 6 points. Based on the reviews of the local lawyers available at the Avvo.com, I contacted Carlos Wall from the Gordon Law Firm. I discussed my situation with Carlos Wall, who was honest with and told me that I didn't need to retain a lawyer for the traffic ticket I was issued. He instructed me on how I should explain my situation to the judge. I told me him that I would feel more comfortable if a lawyer would represent me in the court. Carlos agreed to take care of my case. Thank to Carlos the Fairfax County General District Court amended the charge of speeding – 65/45, a 6 point infraction, to failure to pay full time and attention, a 0 point infraction, and imposed a $75.00 fine!
