I wasn't a criminal but I was being charged as one

In 2007 I was charged with a 2nd third tier DUI along. Because I was driving under a suspended license from my first DUI and the highest BAC, I was facing mandatory jail time. I wasn't a criminal, I was suffering from alcoholism. Mr. Parlow not only represented me, he helped me focus on the bigger pi...cture of getting better so this would not continue to happen. He recommended treatment, a recovery house and following up with recommendations. By the time I saw the judge I had been sober for 9 months and was actively involved in a recovery program. I did NOT have to do jail time and was given the opportunity to remotely connect with probation via monthly phone monitoring. I felt supported and heard, he was not judgmental of the things I had done or been accused of doing and he was extremely competent. 11 years later I am a different person thanks to the representation provided by Mr. Parlow.

My life could have been ruined!

Back in 2016 i was charged with my second DUI for narcotics. I was looking at 3 months in jail, 18 month license suspension, 3-5 years on probation and a 2nd DUI on my record. Not only that but due to this i would lose custody of my daughter and my job. The courts did not bring me to trial in a ti...mely fashion and 2 years and 2 months later i get notice of pretrial. Michael was my attorney from the moment i was charged. In those two years i got my life together, i got married, i got sober, i got a wonderful job, i got custody of my daughter and most importantly i was finally happy with how life was coming together. When i got that letter i was petrified, i thought my whole life would crumble due to clerical errors or just straight up negligence of the court. That is where Michael and his invisible cape came into play. We were going to move forward with Rule 600, which means i was supposed to be brought to trial in 365 days from the time of the complaint filing, or charges "should" be dropped. Its a bit tricky though because its up to court to dictate what is considered actual time and what is not. Michael thought we had a very strong case. First the DA offered reckless driving and disorderly conduct which carried no jail time but it did carry a 6 month license suspension and 12 months probation. I could absolutely not afford to lose my license. Michael told me his advise would be not to take this deal. We moved forward with rule 600 motion which is a big risk, Either i win big or lose even bigger. My biggest thing was not wanting a license suspension and of course no jail time. so we proceed. In the mean time we were given another deal, 2 careless driving charges, 6 points on my driving record, disorderly conduct and 15 months probation. That deal had everything i wanted, so we took it. After seeing the probation department i ended up on unsupervised probation, i call in once a month to report. Michael was there answering his cell phone at all hours as i was freaking out in the beginning trying to comprehend what all this meant. He is an amazing lawyer and an amazing person. I was not treated as a pay check, he saw through my charges and was a friend throughout the entire process. Hopefully i never need another criminal attorney on my side but if i or anyone i ever know needs one, Michael Parlow is the man.

Jordan case

Esq. Parlow took took on our case which we saw as a "bleak" situation for my son. What could have been a 1-3 yr sentence ended in time served and probation. The case took 6 months, but we are grateful it did. Mr. Parlow explained everything to us.

Michael Parlow - Above and Beyond

I can say that Michael fought for me every step of the way. His work ethic, and personnel touch helped me cope with an error in judgement on my part that resulted in a DUI in Bucks Co. I did have one 18 years back so even through it was over the 10 year time frame, it is still an example of behavior.... I can state that he worked in my behalf all the way to the trial day. The work with the D.A. office to find a solution for my charges resulted in my charge being removed. He arranged for me to plead guilty to a lessor charge where I was able to save my D.L. - I understand how he was able to accomplish this, but amazed that he was able to get the court to agree. I did have a 72 hr. punishment, and that was more than fair considering my charges. The other angle here was the mental stress you experience from the second you see lights in your rear view mirror to the day your case is finalized. It was six months in my case. He was there for me on that level as well, I felt he put is heart in trying to secure the fantastic outcome that I received. I plan to never be in a situation like that again, so if you are reading this I cannot suggest a better attorney, He knows the court system, and it was obvious that he has the respect of the Judges, the police and the D.A. office. I can only Thank Mike for his help, I give thanks that I know him. Ed - Buck Co. resident.
