I recently was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment after my ex wife came to my work place, started a fight and ended up pushing me and then falling after I pushed her back. I was instructed by a friend to contact Mike and he immediately had me come i...n for a consult. He took all my information and my whole story but, never once led on that he would be able to get me out of this situation. He did say his main goal was to make sure i didnt have a felony but, never promised me that i wouldnt do some kind of jail time. He knew I was freaking out but told me to remain calm through this and to keep a level head. Mike kept in touch with me through everything, even checking in just to see how I was doing because my ex and I still had custody exchanges that needed to be done. Mike took me to the preliminary hearing and after an intense conversation with the DA and the arresting officer, he was able to get the aggravated assault dropped and was left with the simple assault. When we finally went to trial, Mike still wasn't certain he could get me off entirely or, if he was, he never led on that he could but, in any case, after yet another intense conversation with the DA and reviewing a surveillance video that we weren't given until the day of the trial, Mike was able to get my sentence reduced to a couple of fines, a year of probation, and mandatory anger management classes. I've heard horror stories of lawyers who take your case, tell you you'll be fine, and then you never hear from them again until the trial. I even had this experience myself with a custody lawyer and am now fighting my own battle to get my son but, through the whole case, Mike had me come in repeatedly, called and texted, and even had his secretary return my calls for him if he was in court. I'd say Mike went above and beyond for me, always kept in touch, but more importantly, never once led on that I would get out of this ok. I respected that the most because nothing is worse than false hope.

My life changed in March when I came home and the police handcuffed me and executed a search warrant of my property. I was facing felony charges and potentially up to 4 years in jail. I met with three attorneys and felt the most comfortable with Michael Parlow. I was a complete mess and his office... made sure that I met him on the same day that I called to make an appointment. He listened to my case and made me no promises but told me that he has a game plan and is very confident that I will be satisfied with the results. He told me to be patient and have trust in him. I am not a patient person but I took his advice and it was the best decision I ever made. His office staff kept me informed every step of the way. Michael met with me seven times and made sure to review everything before each hearing. He also returned all of my phone calls. He made me feel like I was his only case and that really made me have confidence that this whole thing may turn out fine after all. The only reason I knew I wasn't his only case is because every time I went to the office his waiting room was packed. Even though the waiting room was packed he always met me on time and never rushed me. He answered all of my questions and it was really appreciated. He never made me any promises but his goal was to get my felony dropped and make sure I didn't go to jail. He succeeded!! Instead of being in jail and having my reputation tarnished, I am working and recently just received a raise. I am so grateful and happy that I picked him to represent me. He was also very affordable. He was worth every dollar. He doesn't nickel and dime you. He truly hit a grand slam for me. I hope I never find myself in this position again but if I do he will be my first call!

I never in my life thought I would ever need to hire an attorney, but the situation I found myself in, I had no other choice. I am your average middle class working mother, and when my life changed over night, I didn't care what the cost woud be, I just knew I needed to hire the BEST to get my life ...back to normal. Low and behold, I found myself in Michael's office, where not only did I truly get the BEST, I didn't have to break the bank. Michael is super professional, aggressive, and knowledgeable. At times, I felt as if I was his only client. My case lasted over a year with 13 court appearances , and 2 weeks before every court hearing, I received a phone call from his office advising me of when my court date was and when I wanted to come in for my meeting with Mike. His office staff was fabulous, and so were his partners! Mike became my security blanket, and during the whole case, I had complete faith in him. I wanted things to be over quick (as would anyone going through a criminal situation) but he advised me to have a little patience and let things fall into place, so I did, I trusted in him COMPLETELY. Finally, after ALL of HIS hard work, he was able to get ALL of my charges dropped & expunged. I finally am getting my life back, and it is with all Thanks to Michael.

My experiences with Michael Parlow have been nothing but positive. He is focused and committed to his clients and delivers what he said he would. He truly cares and works to make you comfortable through the legal process. Very responsive and does not try to overbill or run up charges. Wish I could give negative stars, or at least zero. Hired Michael Parlow because of his raving reviews online, promised he was a shark; the man cost me almost 2 decades in prison, and I was only a child then. Guy spoke to me no problem on the phone when I was in the County Jail, sounded like great ...lawyer, promised he'd help me. Soon as he got the money, total 180 from him, wouldn't pick up phone, wouldn't answer letters. Man met with me one time, after that he failed to appear to vital hearings on at least 3 occasions and forfeited my right to have those hearings. He charged my family extra money for services we requested which he simply refused to perform and he never returned or even made record of the payment; he stole from us. Man never met with a single witness in my case, never even secured a bail reduction for me after almost 2 years in the county jail under excessive bond. Guy never answered phone or my letters whole time I was in county. Guy showed up for the second time ever right before trial and gave me false appellate advise to induce a guilty plea, insisted I take that plea. I was just a kid, and my family was scared and naive, so we listened to him, almost 2 decades later Im still convicted of something I didn't do, and never even got my day in court.. For your sake or the sake of your loved one, I advise you to never hire this attorney, flee far from him. I am not the only person he has done this too, he was actually sued in federal court once for forcing people to enter guilty pleas. He will just delay your case delay your case until the last minute and then obligate you to enter a plea or goto trial with nothing because he has done no work. I believe he only works hard on a handful of high profile and rich clients each year to make it appear he is good lawyer, then the low profile clients and the poor he sells out. Im sure there is a lot of people in state prison who this lawyer misrepresented and as a result they were wrongfully convicted, but you wouldn't hear about it because they're dying in prison, also even the ones that got out, likely after so long have moved on and don't have the time to warn people about him. I am posting this review anonymously for fear of retaliation from the powerful attorney. But, please believe, this is a REAL review, a real live story of someone who was terribly wronged by this Attorney. Time from taken from me I will never get back, and this man did nothing for me, he never met with a single witness, and there WAS exculpatory witnesses out there, he just never took the time to meet with anyone, nor even get my bail down so I could do it myself.... I only write this review to try to save others, If I can save one person the hell I went through, it was worth it. Spend your money elsewhere, once you pay him, it is too late, you won't get your money back...
