My 45th anniversary gift from my husband was my receiving unexpected Divorce Papers in the mail. I was completely devastated. I consulted Michael in the spring of 2019 to file for divorce and draft a marital settlement agreement. The meeting was scheduled quickly, and he was flexible enough to handle over the phone since I had a busy schedule with working and two children. Michael clearly laid out my options, as well as t...he process if I decided to proceed. I appreciated that there was no pressure and he instead encouraged me to take some time to ensure that a divorce was really what I wanted. Once the decision was made, he pulled together all of the paperwork very quickly and my ex-husband was served with the paperwork to keep things moving along. In the meantime, I worked with Michael and his team to put together a marital settlement agreement that met the needs of me and my ex-husband. This process was made easier since Michael had previously written a prenuptial agreement for me, to protect my individual assets. It was just under 4 months from the time I decided to file for divorce until the day my decree was issued, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Michael and his team were very knowledgeable and offered me great advice throughout the process. They were available anytime I needed them, and his paralegal Felicia was especially accommodating and helpful!
