Since you can print out all the forms online for free. why spend the money on attorney at all? Well... those people without a lawyer got their bankruptcy petition denied, one after another! Either they were missing this form or that form or the court did not get the forms in advance or they gave strange answers at the hearing when the person acting as a judge grilled them or were just unprepared to be in court. Sitting in front of a trustee and having to verbally defend your bankruptcy petition (that is being recorded while under oath) is VERY different from just printing out a form online and filling it out at home. This is the same reason why you would not walk into court for a civil or criminal matter without an attorney. Just because you COULD do something by yourself does not mean that you SHOULD do something by yourself. Nothing is more expensive that a cheap/bad lawyer or non-existent representation. Stick with Barbie because she will actually save you a ton of money in the long run with having your bankruptcy actually go through successfully!

I would go with Barbie hands-down. She is not only extremely professional and sharp as all get-out but she's also really kind, warm, and compassionate which meant a lot to me. She even gave me extraneous legal advice! She stood up for me and was extremely thorough when we put together my case to make... sure we didn't miss any detail. She's wonderful.
