knowledgeable

Had a class b misdemeanor case, walked in his office for a free consultation; he had a plan on how to approach the situation. He is very straight forward. He put me on pre trial and my case was dismissed! Money well spent. Thank you.

This is not a recommendation

I hired Jeff Greco in November 2019 and fired him in April 2021 when I found out that nothing was never done on my behalf for my case. During COVID my court case was being prolonged without me being notified or updated on the rationale yet he was still attending court hearing via phone. There was m...any times when My requests for updates on my case was ignored later to find out there was never any updates. I gathered all my documentation on my own and made the recommendation on what documentation to gather for my case. It wasn’t until I went to court on my own that I was informed that a motion was never filed on my behalf. I also had a bench warrant out in 2020 because he did not show up to court on my behalf when he was hired to do so. I don’t recommend Jeff as an attorney. My whole experience was unprofessional and stressful. My court case literally went no where and I was never in agreeance to keep having continuances on my case for no logical reason This was a total mistake and caused me more problems than I started with hiring him as an attorney. He was not competent in my case and any motions that was required to be filed.

I normally don't reply to any review, and as you can see from the 99.9% of my reviews, they are all GLOWING reviews of our work performed on the client's behalf and there is no need to reply. In this case, you are reading a complete fabrication - a paragraph filled with nothing but lies. I am sorry that I am not more powerful than the Covid-19 Pandemic and this client's case was delayed during the pandemic like so many others. I wish I had the ability to cure Covid-19 so the cases would not be delayed, but that is simply not the case. This client was updated EVERY SINGLE TIME we had court. She is confusing me with one of the several attorneys on the case before me (I should have known by that alone what I was getting into). This is not a case that motions were to be filed on and she knows that because we discussed it no less than 10x. Other pre-trial documents were filed on her behalf and not only does she know this, she has a copy of them because I sent them to her. Her case is literally a step away from being dismissed and she had the audacity to complain that it was not happening "fast enough". I hate that we now live in this cancel culture where anyone can say whatever they want to say without any proof whatsoever. I have the proof to back up everything I did and everything in this reply. Does she have the proof to support her mountain of lies? I stand behind the work I have done for my clients for the past 15+ years. I am sorry that I cannot make every client happy 100% of the time. I wish I was superhuman, but I am not. I am sorry that I cannot make global pandemics disappear and allow cases to move as they normally would. If I could have done that - I would have. I wish attorney number # 4 the best of luck on this case for what little work is left to do. You are going to need it...

Lack of Communication

Decided to reach out to Mr. Greco's office after seeing the rave reviews on this site. The experience was not what we were expecting. After chatting on the website and being told someone would reach out to us, Mr. Greco called us and proceeded to give us very little of his time. After briefly expl...aining why we were calling, he proceeded to put us on hold, as he was getting a bad connection and wanted to find a better spot to speak with us. We proceeded to stay on hold until a receptionist came on the phone asking why we were calling. We explained that we were speaking with Mr. Greco and asked us to hold. She then put us on hold, then returned, telling us he will call us back. I am not sure if he felt we were not a viable case, or that we were not worth his time, but it was very unsettling. We will continue to find someone else who can help with this case. I just hope in the future, Mr. Greco can give up a little more of his time and not waste others.

This gentleman contact my office yesterday afternoon. I was having trouble hearing him, as there has been a Verizon phone issue in our building this week. What I was able to hear him discuss in the several minutes I was on the phone with him, I informed him that there was nothing I could do to help his friend. He continued to speak with me about general questions, and I told him it was getting too difficult to hear and that I would call him back from a separate phone. As soon as I hung up, a prosecutor called my cell on a case I was working on that had deadlines today. I got sidetracked and did not get a chance to call the gentleman back until today. I called this gentleman back today and I apologized to him for not getting back to him instantaneously. I reiterated that I still could not do anything for his friend as I had told him the day before and I offered to answer any other questions he may have. He informed me that they had found a lawyer who could help them. I wished him and his friend good luck on the case. We ended on cordial terms. For any prospective client reading this...I try to make everyone happy, even people whom I cannot help (like this caller). I wish I could "give up a little more of my time" like the caller suggested, for free, but I have paying clients who demand the service that I have been providing my clients for over 10 years. As you can see from all of my reviews, the service I provide is consistent. While I can appreciate someone getting upset from not receiving a call back, let's not forget that I already informed this caller that I could not help their friend. To expect any lawyer to "give up more of their free time" is not realistic. I go out of my way to help people every single day, even those who are not my clients. I am sorry this caller felt aggrieved by this exchange, and that is why I called him back today to ask if he still had any questions. I did not ask him to remove this review, as that was not the purpose of my call. He was polite with me, both yesterday and today, and I wished him the best of luck. I do not know how else I could have handled that in a more appropriate manner to avoid a review by a caller who was not satisfied with the way I handled his call. I tried to make it right with him today, and that is the best anyone could hope to do.
